Many say and know it was the death of Jesus or the resurrection of Jesus. But, to the Jewish mind there was something else. but it was quickly covered over. Any Ideas?

The conception and birth of Jesus.
If you are speaking covenants then it is a different answer.
I do not know the answer you have to share.

The coming of the Anointed one would be important to Jews.

Lk 16.16
“The Law and the prophets were proclaimed until John; since then the gospel is preached , and everyone is forcing his way into it.
Bit it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one stroke of the letter of the Law to fail”
Mt 11.12f
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force. For all the prophets and the Law prophesied until John”

Some it was the work of an angel. Some say the work of God himself. It happened the same time Jesus died. It horrified some jews and quickly replaced. (hint) Matt 27

And behold the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom..
cf heb 7-9
Now all men who are in Christ can approach the throne of grace.
The barrier is gone and with it the old covenant.

The temple veil is torn.
Time to move on.
