Many say and know it was the death of Jesus or the resurrection of Jesus. But, to the Jewish mind there was something else. but it was quickly covered over. Any Ideas?

The conception and birth of Jesus.
If you are speaking covenants then it is a different answer.

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force. For all the prophets and the Law prophesied until John”
one event written of in the gospel accounts was to the jews of great importance. However, many gentiles just read over it. Some it was the work of an angel. Some say the work of God himself. It happened the same time Jesus died. It horrified some jews and quickly replaced. (hint) Matt 27
