Kerwin.
The point is:
Answer straight to the point.
1. What do you call a place described in Isaiah 11 and 65?
2. Did the thief go to paradise the day he died?
3.Did he not go to paradise the day he died?
4.Was the thief resurrected before Christ?

Don’t make up stories, NO PARADISE WAS MENTIONED.
Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
Luke 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
IN ABRAHAMS BOSOM,WHERE DO YOU THINK ABRAHAM IS?
WHERE DO YOU THINK ALL THE FOREFATHERS OF ISRAEL WILL BE SITUATED WHEN THEY ARE BROUGHT BACK?wakeup.

I did not say paradise was mentioned. I said:
Jesus described a paradise as the place Lazarus dwelt after his death in the parable of the rich man and Lazarus.
The thieves body laid in his burial place and his soul descended to hell. That is what Scripture states happened to Jesus. It also happened to Abraham and to many others.
I thought you set some store by the book of Enoch.

Mans tongue has no bones.
Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
WITH ME.
Are they both together in one grave?
Is jesus’s soul egual to the thief’s soul?
Were they both put together in the same place in heaven?
Did not Jesus say; Father unto thee I commend my spirit?
Is the thief with the Father also?
Feed some more on swine flesh. The first paradise is called Eden.
The coming paradise will be called Holy Jerusalem. The kingdom of God.
Jesus as king of kings, and the saints as kings and priests.
There is no third or fourth, or fifth.
But you can add some more if you like.wakeup.

Did I say the thief did not go to paradise; or do you just want it to sound like that?
What I said was; The thief did not go to paradise that same day.
According to the living bound by time.
But according to the dead thief; time has stopped, and he will find himself in paradise that same day.
And Christ will be there also; but as king of kings.
Hope you can grasp it by now.wakeup.

What I said was; The thief did not go to paradise that same day.
yes i do understand what you said ;but according to the Greek ,Jesus was talking about that day not any other day now a day as 24 hour or 12 in those days Jesus died and after his dead ,their was a resurrection ,right then and there ;
Mt 27:51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split.
Mt 27:52 The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life.
Mt 27:53 They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus’ resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people.now you telling me that what Jesus promises will not come through ? i believe that it was that day ;but to me heavenly paradise his a place close and in favour of God and his son ,all those who are true and faithful believers will go there (meaning their soul)
until the resurrection to receive their new body

Matthew 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
Matthew 27:53 And came out of the graves AFTER HIS RESURRECTION, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
NOTE: THEHY WERE NOT RESURRECTED BUT REVIVED. BECAUSE THEY CAME OUT IN THE SAME BODY.
AND CAN BE SEEN; AND DID NOT GO TO HEAVEN; BUT TO THE CITY.wakeup.

I have not gotten to answering your questions yet.
Acts 2:27Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
27 because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Jesus’ soul was in hell during the time of his death and so was the soul of the thief and anyone else that had died previously or died while he was there.
Taken literally the Paradise Jesus was describing was in hell.
In the parable of the rich man and Lazarus you see the place of torment that exist in hell and the place of comfort where Lazarus dwelt at Abraham’ bosom. A place of comfort is a meaning of the word paradise and Eden which is never called Paradise in the OT and only indirectly called Paradise in Revelations is also a place of comfort.
The book of 1 Enoch also testifies of a place of comfort in hell. Like in the parable that place is separated from the rest by a chasm.
Luke 16:25Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

1. What do you call a place described in Isaiah 11 and 65?
I call it the world to come.
Isaiah 11:9Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain:
for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord,
as the waters cover the sea.To me the world to come is a paradise. It may well be that Eden will expand to cover the whole earth.
Revelation 2:7Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
November 6, 2014 at 4:24 am#782650WakeupParticipantKerwin.
Jesus soul was never in hell, because He said:
Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit, and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
The flesh went in the tomb.wakeup.
November 6, 2014 at 4:32 am#782651WakeupParticipantKerwin.
Do you mean the new earth?
Not so, because they live up to one hundred years and still die.
So that is not correct. The 1000year kingdom is just the first dominion.
The second dominion would be the new earth.Micah 4:8 And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.

Mt 27:50 And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.
Mt 27:51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split.
Mt 27:52 The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life.
Mt 27:53 They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus’ resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people.so you are wrong ;scriptures says that they have been raised to life as soon he died ,but later on after his resurrection they appeared to many ;
is this not what the scriptures says ? YES

So how do you deduce that scripture, such as in 1 Peter 3.19, is wrong?
Should you be so confident in your own ideas?

even with scriptures we have to be careful for you seem to make them say different thing

Is it not only possible that you did not understand?
Compare scripture with scripture, then come up with your version.

I see that you have changed your wording.
They came out of the graves in a flesh body, this only means that they have been revived.
1.They did not go to heaven.
2.They went to the city.
3.They could be seen by many.
