Most christians sees God as santaclause.
Worshipping God not because of what he is, and his love for us, but because of all the blessings he can give.Blessings in health,a good and prosperous life, and you name it.
They want a joyful life,and an abundant life now.
This is the only reason they go to church; to seek all these blessings in this life.Why would God make us suffer,they say. This is because they dont know him.This equals them following Christ for the bread that filled their belly,not for his teachings and miracles.(john 6:26).
They love God for the wrong reasons.(they really love themselves).
Yes, God promised us everlasting life,but that should not be the only reason to worship him.This would be self interest.If God blessed us with a prosperous life now,and an eternal life after; than the whole world would come and worship God; but for selfish reasons,for this is our nature.
We only love to get,get,get,receive,and receive the material.How to receive the Holy spirit we dont know.
We must feed ourselves with the word,the word of truth,which is the Holy spirit.This; God knows,and this is not the sort of worship he wants from us,worship for self gain.He is not some santa clause.
Here is the hard thing, that we can not understand; and also not willing to bear.
Sufferings; for we all must carry our own cross.
We also must be willing to worship him through our sufferings;not only in good times.Sufferings is a must.Jesus did suffer,and also the apostles,and all the prophets, So why are we seeking for a life in abundance now?
Why are we seeking a joyful life now?Did not Jesus warned us? He said ''they will hate you for my sake,because you are not of the world''.
By our sufferings in this world, God can know who the true worshippers are.How ever he chastised us,we must understand that it is for our own good. All things happened for the good to them that fear the Lord.
Soon we have to go through great tribulations; this is the time when God will sift out the true worshippers, from the luke warm worshippers.The selfish worshippers.
The ones that just go for the bread that can fill their belly.
Fill yourselves with the flesh of Christ, and not with bread.
Lets worship God, for what he is, and for our love as of a son love a Father.Learn from Job;how God made him to suffer;he stayed with his God; and God blessed him double.For this, not many can bear,this is true worship.

Why did Jesus say that we will be hated by the world
because they hated him?True christians,can not have abundant life in this Godless world,because they will be hated.
None of the apostles and martyrs had abundant life,but only struggle.To worship God because of abundant life is of no value to God. Anyone can do that,just because of greed and selfishness. Worshipping God; because of what he can give me.
God values worship such as Jobs.We suppose to be as dead in the flesh,but alive in the spirit.

Christ is speaking to ISRAEL here too. God is not happy with them. Isaiah spoke this to Israel. Can you see the difference? Any one can quote scriptures out of revenge and not even see the true meaning. These scriptures to you are personal, based on emotion and hate. If you had read them seeking the truth, God would of granted you understanding. Big difference, you use the Word of the Lord for malice, for personal attacks and holy spirit does not grow in these conditions, if the soil is rotten.

The gentiles get the message that Christ has the power to forgive sins, but the Israelites do not get it, …They are the only race in the world to reject the good news. If Jesus stated in John chapter 10 that He came to “give life and life more abundantly” then why can't you have the abundant life in tribulation?
To have the abundant life doesn't mean you are somehow free from tribulations, it just means you have a “living hope” and “help” from God while others don't, who are not saved or believers.

Hi Richtuner.If you seperate yourself from babylon,she will put you in a corner and hate you.
Be ye separate; this means not to join her works and babits and traditions. Your enemies will be your closes families and friends, even your boss at work.
God can also bless some with material things if he sees that you wont be led away from the spirit.
The material can currupt the soul.
Solomon was blessed in wisdom and the material;and it corrupted him.
Money means leisure,and temptations.
The more money the more friends,male and female.
You know where I am going.Worshipping God through hard times is worth more to him.
All the saints worshipped God through hard times.
We rather have our reward later in life,not in this life.Satan believes that we worship God only because God has blessed us with the material,and God has proven it not to be true. The proof is in Job.
The more wisdom,the more sorrows.(ecclesiastes 1:18.).
Sorrow is better than laughter.(eccl.7:3.).Abundant life preachings is just a carrot to bring them to church.
Abundant life we will have in the kingdom.wakeup.
