    Hi KJ,
Indeed the Judge of men was here and the judgement established that it would be by faith in the son God sent.[Jn3,16]
Now men can walk towards the future they choose for themselves.
    Wake up and listen

Hi Kj, I do agree with you here, but not in the words meaning 'new heaven and earth'. I agree with the old covenant and the new one,

Ed, what do you believe is Isreal? A country or nation? or a race? Or those in Christ?

Scientists say this planet is doomed from what man has done to it. God is also angry in Revelations to those who destroyed the planet.

    Hi Karmarie,

This question is a “Fractal”; a fractal is a repeating pattern.
JustAskin was going to start a thread on Fractals in “The Bible”, but still hasn't?

These are all the answers (that I'm aware of).

    1) Israel is: The Name God changed Jacob to (meaning Prince with God).
    2) Israel is: The Name of all Israel's(Jacob's) children(throughout history).
    3) Israel is: A tiny nation in the middle of the land mass on planet Earth.
    4) Israel is: Spiritually representing all Believers (sometimes called Jews).
Note: Jews are from the tribe of Judah; only 1/12th of Israel.

    God bless

ED J failed to point out that Jesus is also called by the name Israel (Is. 49). Moreover, Jesus is the ultimate Israel of which all else that was called “Israel” spoke.

    Thanks Jack!

Israel means “Prince with God”; and Jesus most certainly is!
Our YHVH=117 is Forever Our King (Psalm 10:16 / Psalm 29:10)
    and Jesus is Forever Our Prince (Rev.1:5 / Heb. 2:17 / Heb.3:1-3).
I knew you that would eventually come around; God bless you Jack!

                                YHVH is GOD=117
PSALM 117 is [The Bible's Center Chapter], and
the [smallest chapter] of the [LARGEST BOOK]!

    HI Karmarie,

Isaiah 45:17 But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation:
ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
Eph.3:21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus
throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

1Cor.12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

Huh? I did not say that Jesus is a “prince.” I said that He is the “ultimate Israel.” There is no such thing as a “prince” in the Hebrew and the Greek. The word “Israel” simply means “ruler with God.” The word “prince” is old King James English and it was sometimes equated with the word “king.”

King James was called the “Mighty King James” or the “Mighty Prince James.” So don't project your notions of the word “prince” as a lesser potentate than a king. This was not the case.

The word in Revelation 1:5 is “archon” which means “FIRST in rank or power” (Strong's# 758) and is used of God also. Jesus and God are both called “archon” (FIRST in rank and power). And Hebrews 3:3 indicates that Jesus is counted worthy of the glory of the builder which is identified as God in the next breath.

    Hi Kang,

Psalm 10:16 THE LORDis King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.
Psalm 20:10 The LORD(YHVH) sitteth upon the flood; yea, THE LORDsitteth King for ever.
If “The King” DOES NOT DIE, “The Prince”(Jesus) CANNOT take the Crown as Heir to the Crown!

Rev.1:5: And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, (FIRST in rank after YHVH)
and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth.
Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
    And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father;
to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

    Further PROOF…

Heb.13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
John 6:15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they
would come and take him by force, to make him a king,
he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

    Hi Ed,
The Spirit of Christ is yesterday, today and forever.
The kingdom of Jesus is not of man's control or appointment but of God's.

“My kingdom is not of this world”

When he returns as he left he will rule from the throne of David in Jerusalem.

    ED J,

I noticed how your definition of “Israel” morphed in such a short time. Originally you said that it meant “prince WITH God.” Then I showed you that the word “archon” means “FIRST in rank” and your definition of “Israel” mystically and magically changes to “first in rank AFTER God.”

NO! You originally said that it means “Prince WITH God.” I am holding you to this. The fact that “archon” means “FIRST in rank” does not mean that “WITH God” automatically comes to mean “AFTER God.”

Waving your magic wand does not make it so.

    k,

Did you read Isaiah 65-66 like I suggested? The new earth still has sin and death. Sinners are present in the new earth. The difference between Isaiah's prophecy and the Revelation account of the new earth is that the Revelation speaks of the new covenant age in glorious figures of speech. The failure to recognize this is where futurist eschatology errs. They mistake the new earth for some utopia. They need to go back to Isaiah's prophecy for a reality check.
