Let’s be honest here. The argument that you guys have presented on the following verse is a complete fail.
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
You guys are wrong, but you pretend to be right. Why the deception? The verse clearly states its meaning. Do not let pride sway you away from the truth of God. Pride can lead to all kinds of sin.
July 21, 2016 at 11:59 am#816091Ed JParticipantWhen Simeon said: “mine eyes have seen thy salvation” was he wrong? “Yes” or “No” ?
Gene, please do not act like a naughty youth. Just answer the question. You should not be a afraid if you are right.

Hi T8,
When people try to insist on holding to untruths when those untruths
are challenged – by asking refining questions – what they do is:1. Try to ignore the question outright
2. Divert, by answering a different question
3. Outright refuse to answer the refining question
4. Answer the question and let the chips fall where they mayOr
5. LIE to protect their untruth
6. Implement a deception (in addition to lying) to protect their untruthSo far Gene has tried #1 and #2. We will have to see if he progresses
all the way to outright deception to protect his faulty logic.________________

I am thinking about banning such people from these forums.
If they blatantly teach lies and dodge questions to hide in the dark, then they should be booted IMO.
While there is already a rule that bans those who refuse to answer reasonable yes/no questions. When they do answer and it clearly contradicts and remain with that contradiction because of pride, then what use are they here anymore. They are not helping anyone, just muddying the water instead.
July 21, 2016 at 1:55 pm#816100kerwinParticipantNick,
Hi KW,
The wisdom of God is beyond foolish reason.
Seek the ways of God rather than defending what is of earth.
Once again you condemn reason and so condemn Jesus for using it and show contempt to God who created human a reasoning creature.
Give up your false teachings.

t8,
Are you denying that it is Jesus’ sacrifice that saves those that believe?
Yes or No.
This is the third time I have asked this question. Why are you not answering it if truly believe Jesus was born the Savior in actuality and not just in prophecy?
The last question is rhetorical.

Hi T8,
1) I really don’t consider it a problem …until he claims he did answer
and then starts to complain that I’m hassling him – and then
threatens to turn me in (to you) for hassling him.2a) I can hold my own in a debate against anyone,
but I have no recourse when someone ‘cries foul’
arbitrarily without any clearly defined rule breach.
At that point I get scared, because the eyes of justice can be clouded too.2b) Sorry to disagree with you here – but I’m against banning people for ANY free-speech issue.
I see people getting banned on other forums with over 1,500 posts, it makes me believe
that they got banned simply for disagreeing on certain pet doctrines of those
in charge rather than behavioral issues (which I would take issue with).
Those should certainly arise before say 1,500 posts or so.3) Not necessarily, God may still have them here to learn despite themselves.
And people shouldn’t be so-weak that they need to be protected,
especially when there are people like us working
to set the record straight.4) Looks like Hoghead1 departed of his own accord, and
when they leave of their own accord your hands ARE CLEAN_____________

Hi T8,
And if they keep claiming error to be truth,
we set up a permanent record in “The Hot Seat”
-to point to- to document the refuting of that error._______________

Hi Kerwin, if it’s all the same to you I’ll answer your question.
No – if you are attempting to distance the act from the man,
then it’s God’s HolySpirit that does the saving rather
than what Jesus did. (reference Romans 8:11)Jesus was the Messiah and Lord from birth as the Angel Gabriel correctly declared to you!
You cannot change this fact without adding in your own error into the mix. (ref. Rev. 22:18-19)July 21, 2016 at 6:33 pm#816111NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Why do read condemnation when reason is put in a lower place than divine wisdom?
July 21, 2016 at 7:11 pm#816114NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
Certainly if you banned those who did not agree with your ideas it would relieve your anxieties and frustrations.
But would you be serving the Lord in propagating the word of Christ?
July 21, 2016 at 11:25 pm#816115kerwinParticipantNick,
I read condemnation because that is in your words. If you do not mean it then perhaps you should consider your words before, during, and even after you write the.4
In the beginning God created humanity as a reasonable creature and saw they were a very good creation and yet you condemn humans for using reason.
In addition you use reason which makes you like a snake eating its own tail.
July 21, 2016 at 11:33 pm#816116kerwinParticipantEd,
Matthew 1:21Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
This passage speaks of Jesus speaks of Jesus doing the saving in the future.
Do you believe Jesus saved his people from their sins while he was being formed in his mother’s womb or perhaps just by being born?
July 22, 2016 at 2:14 am#816121GeneBalthropParticipantkerwin… Edj and T8 seem to both think he HAD ALREADY SAVED US AT BERTH. but we know it was JESUS DESTNY FROM BERTH, BUT THAT DESTENY HAD TO BE FULFILLED BEFORE IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED.

July 22, 2016 at 2:36 am#816122GeneBalthropParticipantEDJ….You AND T8 both have doged my answer , “YES” SIMION saw the one who was to be GOD’S SALVATION WHEN HE WAS BORN, BUT NONE OF THAT CHANGES THE FACT THAT, SALVATION DID NOT HAPPEN TILL IT TOOK PLACE NOW DID IT?. Do you guys actuall BELIEVE it all was accomplished at his berth? SO now, answer my questions, and quite deverting and skirting around them.
peace and love to you and yours. …….gene
July 22, 2016 at 4:05 am#816124NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
Rom 1
..concerning His Son who was BORN of a descendant of David according to the flesh, ( note it does not say conceived)
who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of Holiness…
TWO sonships .
Like us he had to be reborn from above.
July 22, 2016 at 7:00 am#816125NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
And God again spoke of the resurrection being the proof of the Sonship of Jesus to God in Acts 13.23-38.
Now all creation awaits the revelation of the sons of God -they too will be raised from the dead- or taken up if they are alive.
