Hey, it looks like you have not been to the “Spirit have bodies tread, have you,…. If you think I was smurkish, then look at posts to me from Istari…..That is bitterness….and smurish…at times????I have some where that has never healed?? You mean something that has never healed. Wrong, I am 72 years young and nothing that has to be healed no more…..God has taken care of me for years…..And if you knew me, you would know that….I offer you to go to the profile of myself and find out what I mean…..
Peace IreneJanuary 4, 2011 at 5:31 am#231725princessParticipantyou need no healing in your life, wow, i cannot say the same, there are some areas in my life that healing is taking place with the hope that it will continue when needed.
if one choses to react as another does to them, then the passage do unto others as you have them do unto you, takes on a whole different meaning does it not.
many get angry on this board, you are not a newbie irene, you have seen and read it times over. does this however give us the authority to do the same, no.
i do hope you and georg are well, as with your family. take care

How did you manage to dredge in “WJ” into what I said. Was it because you couldn't think of anything else to say. poor you…run out of pleasantries.
WJ is running away trying to hide from answering my questions by claiming that I am being ADhominened ,…to him how sad – I'm sure he has had worse put to him yet even as I say “Please can you answer” he continues to say “oh, my…that was extremely adhomineed…So I, not going to answer you”.
See, he also responded to a 'none-question' , a Premise, rather than the ACTUAL QUESTION lower down – and then THREE TIMES I reposted the question to him and he still kept going on about Adhominem while refusing to answer the question….What do you think this means IRENE?
And so, HOW AM I RUNNING AWAY FROM 'WJ' when it is ME, ISTARI who is continually asking the question to “WJ”?See, you logic is plainly askew…which explains many other things about you!

Once again, i applaud you Spiritualness in this matter and this accord.January 5, 2011 at 1:38 am#231914LightenupParticipantQuote (Istari @ Jan. 03 2011,14:01) Hi Kathi, Thank you for your exposee on your christmas…It sure sounds good. Maybe I'll move to the States….
Yes, Christmas in UK is dull as dishwater…just people over indulging – churches are half empty – half did I say more like three quarter – ha – watch the TV church…no, they gathered them specifically BECAUSE they were going to be on TV.
Notice how man black people are in church? Or Asian, Oriental, Eastern European? No, all middle class White??? Yet ask them what they know of god and you won't see them for dust!
Jesus who? God What? I don't go to church to learn the Bible – I go for Socialising and getting my child in the Church School and for having someone to sign my important papers.
My Son says he learns nothing at church – they let the children play games throughout.
I teach him about the Bible and the stories and the meanings – the Schools can't teach Christianity for fear of the Muslims – so they teach THEOLOGY … meaning skittishness around ALL RELIGIONS…meaning they learn nothing – in attempting to embrace ALL religions that end up embracing NONE.
Istari,
You are welcome. It sure sounds rough in the UK. I did not know that you had a son…how nice.In my area there are churches that usually have mixed races…that is typical, although they tend to be predominately one race or another. I have been to a predominately black church in the area a few times and they sure are gifted in their soulful singing. It is really uplifting. We also have churches that speak Spanish and Vietnamese and probably other languages.
I have English speaking friends that learned how to speak Japanese so they could live in Japan and spread the gospel which they have been doing for about 20 years or so. I met two others last week who learned how to speak Vietnamese so they could spread the gospel in Vietnam for about 10 years. Also, I have friends preparing to go to the poorest country in the world in Africa and spread the gospel and they are busy learning their language and they have 5 kids under 7. People like that are going all over. Perhaps there needs to be many more sent to the UK from what you say. I hope it gets better for you.

Thank you for your thoughts.
I thank God there are such like you in here – I am seeing Spiritualness come alive amongst a few here – but as some one said to me “If tehy didn't believe Jesus Christ, if they killed, nay, crucified Christ, should YOU expect an easier ride?”

Those who wish to worship those who were born should consider what they are doing, If you wish to celebrate the birth of Christ how should you do that? By giving gifts to thers while some starve or give foolish gifts while some need practical things and if you give anything at all why should you wait until a certain date?
Thank you for your respond, you are right as far as the calendar is concerned. God's Calendar starts in the Spring and not in the dead of Winter.
They are all called different too. Yes, and as far as the gifts are concerned too. But most like it that way. It really has been interesting that nobody except you now, have said anything. If you figure the Months when Zachary served in the Temple you can figure out when Christ was born. He was born in the end of September and beginning of October. The exact day is not possible to figure out, unless you know how?
Also nowhere in the Bible does God say to celebrate His Son's Birthday. Easter too. What He does say to do is to keep His death. Why, some might say. Because that is why we are Saved.
Peace and Love Irene
Hi Sis Irene,
Good to argue on the Birth Date of Jesus. Yes you are right we can reach his birth date if we analyse Luke 1 and 2. Zechariah the priest, in fact served two spells in a year one in June and the other in December as per 1 Chr 24 and 2 Chr 23. The priests have to serve from Sabbath to Sabbath (one week) in each spell and also on three times in a year for three prime festival weeks viz., Passover, Pentecost (first fruits) and Tabernacles. As there are 24 priestly divisions each has to serve in two spells of one week each and also commonly on those three festival weeks in a year. I believe John the Baptist's conception must have taken place in December whereby his birth date comes to October and it places Jesus' birth date in the month of April at the time of Passover which can also be confirmed from Luke 2 as Jesus' parents visited Jerusalem on the occasion of Passover when Jesus was about 12. I only count Jesus age as 33 instead of 33.5 at his crucifixion. In fact I believe Jesus' birth day could have been 10 th of first month of Jewish religious calender (Nissan) as Luke places Jesus in the Manger as if he was the passover Lamb of God who could be identified by the shepherds with a sign to them. This was revealed to me in one of my meditations as I was meditating on Exodus 12 on Passover where the passover lamb has to be identified on the 10 th day of Nissan and to be kept for 4 days till the 14 th of Nissan. If Jesus was foreordained by God before the foundations of the world as the Lamb of God and revealed in the Fourth millennium in this world as Passover lamb it proves my arguments on Jesus' birth day being the 10 th of Nissan (Abib) on the same day he entered Jerusalem by riding on a young donkey as the king of Israel. These logics can be ascertained from the book of Mormon which also dates Jesus' death on the Fourth day of 34 th year of Jesus. It also confirms that Jesus fulfilled all the Spring festivals of Yahweh as per Lev 23.I hope I have not confused you.
Love and peace to you

Hi brother Betweenchristendom,
Greetings to you. Please see my arguments above to place Jesus' birth during Spring Festivals of YHVH than in Fall. It is mostly believed that he will fulfill Fall festivals during his second coming therefore I place Jesus' birth during the Spring Festivals so that he could fulfill all the Spring Festival during his first coming. I hope you will appreciate these arguments.Peace to you

AdamDo you know that Jesus was baptized when he was 30 years old?
Did you know that his ministry started right after his baptism?
You do know that his ministry lasted “””three and a half””” years?
You do know that he died at passover, which is around Easter, which is usually in April; so why not add 6 month and you have the time he was born?!Georg

Hi brother Georg,
Thanks for your response on my post above. Yes I know that Jesus was about 30 years of age at the time of Baptism and I also know that he was about 12 at the Passover as per same Luke. But there is no proof for this three and half years' ministry. Scholars differ in this aspect some claim only one year as synoptic accounts and three years as per Fourth Gospel. Therefore I place Jesus' Baptism just before Passover as per John 1 & 2 and he started his public ministry at the age of 30 on the eve of Passover in Jerusalem as per the Fourth Gospel. So there is no problem for my assumption of Jesus' birth day on 10th Nissan than in October as many believe here.
Thanks and peace to you
