kerwin,
the bible is already complete. if we are going to accept that argument, then many false teachers have correct doctrines. you know what i mean? because they are always saying doctrines that are not in the bible. for example, some says that God the father is also the son. that is not written in the bible but in the minds of false teachers.
we cant add words in the bible. we must stick to it and respect what the bible says.
if the bible says that adam was the first man, you should believe that and do not doubt.
there were no people before adam. that is what the bible says and i believe that.2 Peter 3:16
Contemporary English Version (CEV)
16 Paul talks about these same things in all his letters, but part of what he says is hard to understand. Some ignorant and unsteady people even destroy themselves by twisting what he said. They do the same thing with other Scriptures too.April 13, 2013 at 7:32 am#365705jamminParticipantGenesis 5:1-2
[ Descendants of Adam ] God created men and women to be like himself. He gave them his blessing and called them human beings. This is a list of the descendants of Adam, the first man:paul also said that adam was the first man
1 Corinthians 15:45
The first man was named Adam, and the Scriptures tell us that he was a living person. But Jesus, who may be called the last Adam, is a life-giving spirit.also, pls read this
1 Corinthians 11:12
It is true that the first woman came from a man, but all other men have been given birth by women. Yet God is the one who created everything.how do you understand that verse? it says there that the first woman came from a man. who is that man? do you agree that it was ADAM?
and that FIRST WOMAN was eve?therefore this topic is closed because the bible clearly tells us that ADAM was truly the first man.

Jammin,God cursed that added or subtracted from the message taught in the books of Mosses. That message has not changed even though other books and a newer covenant have been added since then. Never the less if God sends a man speaking his Word you are to heed it but if the Devil send one speaking what is false you are not to.

jammin, how do YOU explain geologists finding the remains of Neanderthals and other pre-humans that date back way farther than 6000 years?
April 14, 2013 at 5:25 am#365712jamminParticipantmike,

Jammin,The actual question is if there were beasts that had the appearance of humans and whether the interbred with Cain's line.
April 15, 2013 at 6:46 am#365715jamminParticipantthe bible is silent about that. you should also be silent.

Actually, the Bible never does say that, jammin. The Bible says Adam was the first “adam” – not the first “person”.Now, consider the following:
“adam” = “human being” = “homo sapiens sapiens”
In other words, what we call “modern man” is technically “homo sapiens sapiens” (man-wise-wise).
Yet “homo erectus” (who are NOT “homo sapiens”) are thought to have existed before “homo sapiens” were ever around.
According to evolutionists, homo erectus began 1.8 million years ago, while homo sapiens began 200,000 years ago.
So, from an evolutionist's standpoint, they could say the first “MAN” lived 200,000 years ago – without ever mentioning that homo erectus was already in existence for over a million years PRIOR TO that “first MAN”.
And don't get it twisted, I'm not siding with the theory of evolution. I'm merely pointing out that the Bible does NOT prohibit a “sub-adam” species from existing BEFORE the first official “adam” was created in the Garden of Eden.
So you can rant all you want, jammin, but the Bible certainly does NOT prohibit the things we've been discussing on this thread.

who is that boy? can you give the name of the person and are you sure that that person believes in God? if not, are you a believer of non believer?
why would i believe to people who do not believe in God and ask many questions about the bible? those scientists ask many questions bec they think bible has many contradictions etc etc.
you know what i mean boy?
but ask them and tell them that do they believe in God the father and christ
they will answer no. LOLApril 16, 2013 at 11:50 pm#365719mikeboll64BlockedQuote (jammin @ April 15 2013,21:06) i already posted the verses here that say there were no people before adam.
Are you sure? Or did you post a scripture that says there was no adam to till the ground, so God made one?So like I said, there are NO scriptures that would PROHIBIT a “sub-adam” species from existing BEFORE God created the first “official Adam”.

do you want me to give the verse to you boy?

It doesn't really matter what YOU said, jammin. Who are you? What matters is the Hebrew text says there was no adam to till the ground, so God created the first one.
And once again, no one here is arguing that there were adams around before God created Adam.
I'm suggesting there were “others”, who were NOT adams.
Like I keep saying, you can rant and disagree with me all you want. But the FACT still remains that there isn't a single scripture (that I know of) that prohibits my understanding. (If there was, I'd surely ADJUST my understanding.)
