Hi CO,
God has several aspects to His will.
His will can be perfect, good or acceptable.
He leaves room for the individual choices of men.May 21, 2007 at 11:17 pm#52812TimothyVIParticipantHi Nick,
That sounds kind of strange.
Do you mean God's will can be acceptable to humans,
or acceptable as to mean not quite good or perfect?I don't understand.

Isaiah 46:8-11. “All my desire I will do'. Any doubts?Blessings.
May 22, 2007 at 9:00 am#52846NickHassanParticipantHi CO,
The will of God is done.
Grace is accessible to all.
God is close to Jew and gentile.
Repentance too is a gift the grace of God
But Asking , Knocking and Seeking is essentialMay 22, 2007 at 9:49 am#52850TimothyVIParticipantHi Nick,
I understand now.
You said “His will can be perfect, good or acceptable.”
That sounds like His will can be one or the other.
That is not the same as Rom 12:2 which says that His will is
good and perfect and acceptable.Tim
May 22, 2007 at 10:03 am#52853NickHassanParticipantHi Tim4,
Not quite.
” Romans 12:2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what
the will of God is,
that which is good…. and acceptable… and perfect.”
Three levelsMay 22, 2007 at 1:43 pm#52863chosenoneParticipantIt is God that renews the mind, He changes the heart. “All is of God”. Tired of this scripture?
Blessings.
May 22, 2007 at 5:18 pm#52872NickHassanParticipantHi CO,
All is grace.
All good is of the Spirit.
God changes the open repentant hearts.
Those who do not have the Spirit are not of him.May 22, 2007 at 8:55 pm#52894chosenoneParticipantGod gives His spirit to whom HE chooses, not to those who think they can earn it.
Blessings.
May 22, 2007 at 9:26 pm#52895NickHassanParticipantHi CO,
And it is only available through Jesus by the laying on of hands and by PRAYER.Lk 11
” 10For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.11If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
12Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
13If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? “
SHOULD WE NOT ASK THEN?

The “major branches of Christianity” are irrelevant to the body of Christ in my view. They are rebellious daughters of a rebellious mother, the Whore of Babylon. We should not follow them. The road is narrow and few choose it.

Hi CO,
Natural men have no understanding of the things of God because they are not blessed with the Spirit. Many may hope for salvation by the grace of a merciful God but only the merciful find mercy. God has chosen that men are sifted according to the investment of faith given all and only those who can show profit benefit. No man should dare teach beyond revelation and presuming on God that all are saved.June 19, 2007 at 6:00 am#55860chosenoneParticipantHi Nick.
Can not God bless anyone He wants with His Holy Spitit? “For His achievement are we”.(Eph.2:10)Blessings.
