If you where present on the day Jesus was Killed, would you vote him for destruction on order to have the theology of salvation.

The prophets of Israel prophesied things outside our normal space time paradigm. Popes and the like do not.People knew Jesus was from God because he did things that no man but one sent by God could do. Likewise with the prophets.
If we study history, Emperor Constantine who made Christianity legal got a foot hold inside the Church and created an organised Christianity and from there the Empire became the Holy Roman Empire and then we see the rise of the Roman Catholic Church.
Thus a religious organisation rode on the back of a political beast. This is not to be confused with true faith in God. True faith in God has evidence of the things not seen. The other is about political power and keeping people in ignorance.
