In reality, most people have no view at all. What they say is nothing more than a repetition of the precepts of their chosen group or the group's leader. They would have no opinion at all if it wasn't supplied to them by the clergy.
This is not a cynical statement, but rather a reflection on the reality that most people mistake opinion for fact, especially when it is spoken by a professional or “man of the cloth”.
The subject of God's nature and the meaning of the phrase “One God” is certainly effected by the English translation. The nature of this subject will demand from the reader that he be a serious Bible student and form his own theology. It will also require that he search the scriptures without the “blinders” of his paradigm.

I get this mental picture of a 'church' with a giant bobble-head standing at a pulpet…. the 'congregation' smaller bobble-heads…. and a single person at the back of the church, head lowered and weeping…. then turning around and walking away….

Hi Nick:This is the truth especially when they know that what they are teaching is not the truth, but are unwilling to admit it for fear of being thrown out of the congregation or because of their pride.

How can one know Jesus and be alone? He will never leave us nor forsake us.
Most of the people in the Harlot that stay are confortable and will stay as long as the “crowd” does.The endtime message is “come out of her” some will hear and see the truth right away already knowing in their heart that they live a lie. The more prideful will delay as long as they can. Some will never come out because they are not of the elect. They are tares among the wheat.

Who among you practice sin?
A Christian doesn't practice sin he repents and is forgiven. If we grow in the Spirit then we are to eventually over come sin through Jesus who has defeated sin.
2Jo 1:6 And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments; THIS IS THE COMMANDMENT, just as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it.
