    Thank you Journey.
If the eye dont want to see,it can not see.

Long time no see,how are you doing?

    wakeup.

    Hi Wakeup,

    Jesus said:
“Except a man be born again, he cannot see  the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)

Have you been “Born Again”?    (<– please answer)

    God bless
    Ed J

Not the way you see it.

    wakeup.

    Hi Wakeup,

I'm concerned with the way YOU see it!
So is that a “No” then?   …or a “Yes”?

    STILL REFUSING TO SEE?

    1. Born as of the rewing of the mind. YES.
    2.Born as physically. NO.

    wakeup.

So have YOU been “Born Again” as per what Jesus said in John 3:3?  “Yes” or “No”?

    Edj.

    You mean this; That which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the spirit,is spirit.

    Well;I still have a sore backs sometimes.and I still love my pizzas,and hamburgers(double whopper),an spaghetty.
I suppose I am still flesh, and therefore I was born of the flesh, and not yet reborn of the spirit.

Yes Ed,I am still flesh,I am not yet reborn.
I am still working hard to be worthy, to be reborn of the spirit.

No matter how many showers I have, I still can not be spirit.

Jesus was right, when he said;you have be be born of the spirit to be spirit.

    wakeup.

    Hi Wakeup,

Well, that explains why you cannot see that the kingdom of God is here now.
“Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be BORN AGAIN,
he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)

This verse does NOT mean if you are lucky enough
to get resurrected; as you seem to be assuming.

    Hi Ed:

    What about the following scriptures:

    Quote
1Cr 15:51   Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

1Cr 15:52   In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

    Quote
1Th 4:13 ¶ But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

1Th 4:14   For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

1Th 4:15   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

1Th 4:16   For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

1Th 4:17   Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

    Quote
Mat 24:29 ¶ Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Mat 24:30   And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Mat 24:31   And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

    Love in Christ,
    Marty

    Hi Marty,

    What about them?
I could post the entire book of Acts,
and then say (to you) what about the book of Acts?
And then would you not say: “What about the book of Acts?”
So if you are 'trying' to make a point, please do so; don't keep me guessing.

    God bless

    Hi Ed:

Yes, the point is that the scripture states that there will be a catching away of the church to meet the Lord in the air at his coming, and the scriptures were posted because the scriptures are what define the truth, did you read them? and there is no scripture which states that we meet the Lord in the air when we are born again.

This is the born again experience according to the scriptures:

    Quote
Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

    Quote
1Pe 1:22 ¶ Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, [see that ye] love one another with a pure heart fervently:
1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

    Love in Christ,
    Marty

Christ is the bread in the Kingdom of God.

    EDJ.

Cant you understand the difference between the spirit of Christ and the physical christ(spirit body).

Let me give you an example: there is the spirit of football;and there is the football itself;the game itself.

The physical christ(spirit body) is in heaven;the *spirit* of christ is in them that follow him in truth.

If one lives his life in christ;he has the spirit of christ in him.
His concept of thinking is all spiritual;but he is still flesh physically still breathing air. After his resurrection, he will sit at the table with christ in his kingdom, joined by Abraham and fam.
