    Hi BD:

Jesus is the Son of God as Ed has told you by the scriptures.  This has nothing to do with procreation, but is an act of Love by God to provide the propitiation for our sins, and reconcile us unto Himself.

After Jesus rose from the dead, he said the following:

    Quote
Luk 24:44 ¶ And he said unto them, These [are] the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and [in] the prophets, and [in] the psalms, concerning me.

Luk 24:45   Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

Luk 24:46   And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

Luk 24:47   And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

    Love in Christ,
    Marty

So you agree that Jesus is not the literal son of God, right?

He is the literal Son of God, and Jesus said that he was:

This is the gospel (good news):

    Quote
Jhn 3:16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Jhn 3:17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Jhn 3:18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Jesus has no Father here is proof:

    Psalm 110:4

    King James Version (KJV)

4The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

    Hebrews 7:3

    King James Version (KJV)

3Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

I keep telling you that Jesus' righteousness and holiness made him be called the Son of God. God even says

    Hebrews 1:5
For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

If God was his actual Father He would simply say I am his Father but to help you understand look:

    1 Chronicles 28:6
And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.

Notice he says to David that David's son shall be His son and likewise Mary's son was called God's son it is the same the righteous servant is called “son of God” and that is why the word monogenes was used because it means Unique. God CHOSE that JESUS woud be his righteous servant from birth and no one else had been created that way therefore he is Unique the nagel even called him a “Holy thing”

    Luke 1:35
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Notice it says born of thee because this is the child of Mary. This is the Literal son of Mary

No, he was not created. He was conceived of the Holy Ghost in the womb of the virgin Mary, formed in the womb.

    Quote
Luk 1:26 ¶ And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

Luk 1:27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name [was] Mary.

Luk 1:28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, [thou that art] highly favoured, the Lord [is] with thee: blessed [art] thou among women.

Luk 1:29 And when she saw [him], she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

Luk 1:30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

Luk 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

Luk 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

Luk 1:33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Luk 1:34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

    Hi BD,

Do you think the answer is going to change next time you ask it again in another thread?
Perhaps you should start another thread so you can pretend once again that we never had this conversation?

John 9:35-38 Dost thou believe on the Son of God?

He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?

And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.

And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him. (But you do not believe in Jesus Christ, right.?)

I believe in Jesus Christ you believe that the son of God is an exclusive term of Jesus when the Bible itself disagrees with you and you said you believe what the bible says so either there are many sons of God or the trm means something different which is it?

    Hi BD, (2 Cor 6:15-18)

I believe the “Book of Truth”(AKJV Bible) and YOU believe the 'book of fraud'(the quran).
“And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as
God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
    Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing;
and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”

    Hi BD,

Jesus' had both a father and a mother. Believe YHVH!
And the angel (Gabriel) answered and said unto her, The HolySpirit
shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee:
therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:35)

Shall be called is not the same as “this is” is it?

Michael Jackson has been called the greatest entertainer ever but so has James Brown which is right?
