Jesus commented –
Mar 1:15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled,
and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”Commentators give input regarding that time. Here are statements some of them offer regarding “the time” that was fulfilled:
The time of my kingdom, foretold by Daniel, expected by you, is fully come. (Wesley)
That is, the time for the appearance of the Messiah, the time so long foretold, has come. “The kingdom of God is at hand.”
(Barnes)That is, the time appointed for sending the Messiah; and particularly the time specified by Daniel, Dan_9:24-27.
(Clarke)Either that which was fixed for the end of the law and prophets, the legal and Mosaic dispensation, and the Jewish church state; or the fulness of time for the Messiah's appearance in the world; which was agreed upon between the Father and the Son, was predicted in various prophecies, and the people of the Jews were in a general expectation of:
(Gill)What is your understanding of Jesus' comment? Remember, it is your understanding valid as that, just as those referred to above are valid while differing at times.
I looked forward to your sharing.

Nick,I meant to post this under “Scripture and Biblical Doctrine”
and put it here in error. If you, as a moderator agree it should be moved please do so.At this point I lean toward these two meanings:
1) the end of the law and prophets, the legal and Mosaic dispensation
2) the fulness of time for the Messiah's appearance in the world
What are your thoughts?

Nick,True, they have not ended. Jesus made it clear the were ended regarding a means of salvation.
Now they are good for revelation but not for regulation.
