We should not fear god but his followers, for they are the ones who can blow others to kingdom come.I wonder if, when the fundamentalists have finished with it, we might have our planet back, what's left of it…

Yes, specifically fundamentalist christianity – the sects that attempt to follow the contents of scripture most closely. The closer they are, the bigger the mess. The same is true for islam, of course.Stuart
