The physical death is when the body gave up the ghost.
The spirit of life is taken away.
The breath of life has gone back the whom gave it.
The flesh returned to dust.But this is *NOT* the final death;because there is a resurrection;for all flesh to be judged by the books of deeds.
This is at the second resurrection.
The souls that are rejected, will be put to death once more
cast in the lake of fire. This is final.The spiritually dead are they that have not known God,
because of no interest,or some other reason.
They are them that lived and yet are dead.The living dead.
The spirit of everlasting life dwelleth not in them.
They live for the flesh;they are the worldly.Them that love the delicate gifts that the world can offer,and the desires of the flesh they obey. Slaves of the lust of the flesh.These can be good people but made drunk by the harlot; and tempted by satan and his angels and demons continuesly, and have no way to resist.
These have still a chance in the second resurrection.The spiritually dead, and are wicked at heart, will have no chance forever.They will burn in the lake of fire with their father satan; and his angels.And where the false prophet
and the beast are.They will be folded up like thorns and burned.

Is that in scripture?The best placed to find salvation are those who who know they are sinners and are desperate for a remedy.

First death happens to most;when we grow old,or by some other means.Second death is when judged and found guilty; then put to death again.(second death).
The spiritually dead happens only once,
except he has fallen away after walking in Christ.Can not mix up spiritually dead, and physically dead.
In the last days, some will not experience death at all.
They will be changed in a wink of an eye,and meet the LOrd in the air.All that is OF babylon are spiritually dead.The living dead.

MartyDuring the 2nd Resurrection, people will be judged by the books. The sheep on the right and the goats on the left.
Most of the saints are raised in the first resurrection.
So who are these that have been spared in the second?
Common sense will tell you that amongst them, would be many that have not known Christ, but were spared.
They were judged by the books. Their deeds.There are some good hearted people, that are born in other religions and do not know Christ, because of circumstances.
God looks into the heart remember. He is a fair judge.So not all non christians will be destroyed, as some have the gift of Love inside them, and love can cover a multitude of sins. Love is the main ingredient we need to become a saint.
But once we know the truth, and the scriptures, if we happen to fall away, there is a harsher punishment as we have no excuse.
