    Hi Ed,

Is.59:21     As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, AND my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seeds seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.

What does this verse mean to you?

    Peace……..

Good post honest Abe!  It means the same as this:

“And then shall that Wicked (son of perdition) be revealed, whom
[The LORD JEHOVAH] shall consume with the spirit of his mouth,
and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: (2Thess 2:8) (see also Rev.21:2-3)

1Jn 5:6 This is the one who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
1Jn 5:7 For there are three that testify:
1Jn 5:8 the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.

    Terra.

The water and the blood is the flesh.
The spirit in Jesus is the spirit of truth. Not the spirit of man.

We also consist of water and blood. but the spirit is us is the spirit of man, untill we have received the spirit of truth(Holy spirit).

The spirit of man desires the lust of the flesh.
The spirit of Jesus in us desires the things of God.

anyone that says that the water is the birth in the flesh ,is not the true christian ,he as no understanding ,and his mind is focus on earthly things,

1)the WATER means knowledge OUTSPOKEN KNOWLEDGE ,TO ALL TO EAR ,DID NOT HIDE ,AND NO ONE COULD STAND AND FACE HIM ,

2)the BLOOD means that he not only preach but also fulfill the law of the BLOOD  means the hollocaust ,the LAMB that as given his own blood for the live and sins of the world ,

those two are confirmed by the miracles God did through him ,

    T,

The reason I stated it is the birth water is the words “He did not come by water only”. All men, except Adam and Eve, come by water but Jesus comes comes by both water and blood.

It ties both into his death and resurrection and to immersion in his name.

That does not eliminate other meanings for this passage

and the men that are born without the water of natural birth ???

animals have that as well ,

water does not mean birth ,anyhow you may believe what you want, it is your doctrine ,not mine nor the scriptures ,

Isaiah 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

    T,

Isaiah is telling us how much knowledge of the Lord there will be.  The waters of the sea cover 70% of the earth and their volume is quite a multitude. “So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.”

None the less I know that in some way Jesus is not one that comes by water alone because it is written “”He did not come by water only”.  I also know that men, with but 2 exceptions, come by water which is also known as “amniotic fluid”.

Genesis 1:20 is the first mention of life from water. It is not the last.

I also know that death = blood.  The “come” teaches us he was resurrected from the dead.  The Spirit is the one by whom he was resurrected from the dead.

You may also see other teachings in this passage and as long as they are true and are neither used to deceive or are useless, they come from God.

what about this is their a difference BETWEEN A AND B ??? if yes or not why ???

    GROUP “A”

Ge 15:1 After these things THE WORD of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

1Sa 3:7 Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him.
1Sa 3:21 And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by THE WORD of the LORD.

1Ki 6:11 And the word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying,
1Ki 12:22 But the word of God came unto Shemaiah the man of God, saying,

    AND

    GROUP “B”

Ex 8:31 And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one.

Nu 22:20 And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do.

Dt 18:21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?

1Sa 3:1 And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision.

1Sa 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

are the “THE WORD OF THE LORD ” in both groups a and B mean the same thing ???

1Sa 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

are the “THE WORD OF THE LORD ” in both groups a and B  mean the same thing ???

    Hi Pierre,

“The Word” of the LORD is God's HolySpirit and what “HE” says.

    Hi Ed,

Heb.4:12   For the Word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged Sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and Spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Eph.6:17   And take the helmet of salvation, and the Sword OF THE Spirit, which is the Word of God:

Do you still think the Word of God is the Spirit of God?

    Hi Abe,

    Of course, what has changed?

1Ki 12:22 But the word of God came unto Shemaiah the man of God, saying,

    AND

Ex 8:31 And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one.

None the less I know that in some way Jesus is not one that comes by water alone because it is written “”He did not come by water only”.  I also know that men, with but 2 exceptions, come by water which is also known as “amniotic fluid”.

scripture for this ???(with but 2 exceptions, come by water which is also known as “amniotic fluid”. )

    T,

Adam and Eve were not born of women.  All other humans have been, except those in the earliest stages of life.  Do you know of any other exceptions?

    K

those are two reasons for your analogy to be false

    Hi Ed,

1Jn.1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have Heard, which we have Seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our Hands have handled, concerning the Word of life.

Matt.24:39 (Jesus) Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I Myself, Handle Me and see, for a Spirit does not have Flesh and Bones as you see I HAVE.

Jn.5:37 (Jesus) And the Father himself, who sent me, have testified of me. You have neither heard his Voice at any Time, nor Seen his Form.

Acts2:34 Therefore being exulted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the PROMISE of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now SEE and HEAR.

Didn't the Apostle John live with Jesus for over three years?

    Peace…
