    You

    Google this:

    What is the great sea?

    Me

    Daniel 7

In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.
[2] Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.

The text does not specify if it is the Mediterranean ….

[3] And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

    Babylon
    Medo-Persia
    Greece
    Rome

If we stay in the literal
Babylon and the other kingdoms came out of the Mediterranean Sea?

    this is serious ?

    Did you google it?

    What is the great sea?

It comes up with the answer in multiple places.

    Do some research.

    You might learn something.

Yes, these empires existed just outside the Great Sea.

These are the world empires in question.

Daniel declared: “In my vision in the night I looked, and suddenly the four winds of heaven were churning up the great sea. Then four great beasts came up out of the sea, each one different from the others:

    Hi Proclaimer

Babylon out FROM the great sea ?

    No.

Great sea IS symbolic like the four winds

….I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.

    God bless

    Berean.

Why did you choose that name?

To be berean means to check out things to see if they are so.

You do not seem to do that however.

Are you here to test all things, seek, learn, and teach or are you here to promote the leaven of a denomination instead?

Why divert the subject? Berean is a nickname, don’t attach too much importance to it …. I’m amazed that you didn’t realize that yes, I belong to a church (SDAChurch), but primarily to Jesus my Savior and my Lord to whom I gave my life about 45 years ago. I am a single member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with my wife, and we have not attended a local church for the past two decades, not out of deliberate choice, but out of house rental budget. Having said that, we prefer to live in the countryside, cultivate fruits and vegetables and far from the hubbub of cities and pollution.
Question why I am on heavennet.net, well it is to testify to the TRUTH THAT IS IN CHRIST as everyone here seeks to do, more or less successfully … It is true that we are all of so different horizons … but whatever, the message of the gospel is eternal and universal; and by the grace of God I try to be a witness for the Lord wherever I go.

Proclaim to return to the subject, I am convinced that the words “four winds” and “great sea” are symbolic in our considered passage (Daniel 7) and even Revelation 13

Well, you don’t think so … maybe one day you will understand …?
    In the meantime, good evening.

From Babylon to Gaza (at the edge of the Mediterranean, there are about 2400 km by car and 1000 by plane It’s still not the next door …. Babylon, exit of the Mediterranean Sea … hmm .. .

Europe (10 horns of the best) yes ….

But the problem is that the word sea here is purely symbolic, as are the four winds ….

Now google, okay, but needs discernment from above ….

I didn’t divert. You basically ended the point with little to no evidence, thus making it clear that carrying on this conversation with you is pointless.

I then wondered why you chose the name ‘Berean’ which means the opposite of what you did.

I do not read much to be honest. I haven’t seen any evidence that you are a truth seeker. I could be wrong, but you appear to post denominational propaganda as opposed to things you have learned through study.

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman who needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

You say you don’t read, it’s wrong. Don’t you believe in providence on your way?

The whole earth doesn’t mean the planet in scripture

In fact, Earth was first used as the name of our planet in the early fifteenth century.

    Genesis 41:57
The people of all the earth came to Egypt to buy grain from Joseph, because the famine was severe in all the earth.

As you can plainly read. The word earth here cannot be referencing the likes of Australia, China, or Iceland. Knowing this, it changes a lot of our traditional understanding of scripture because the flood covered the earth and even in prophecy when the fourth kingdom trampled the whole earth.

There must not be many places where papal Rome did not build its churches….

And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and👉 all the world wondered after the beast.👈 (Rev.13:3)

And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all 👉kindreds, and tongues, and nations.👈
[8] And 👉all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him,👈 whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.(Rev.13:7,8)

    Beasts are Empires

The Ottoman Empire came after the Roman Empire. That empire has a prophet who is false. It was that empire that beheaded believers.

    Koran
When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.

Same could probably be said about Seventh-day Adventist churches .

    Google:
Adventist mission. Started in the late 19th century, Adventist mission work today reaches people in over 200 countries and territories.
