HiJ42:
You say:
Quote They are going to get a good telling off when Moses comes back with Elijah and accuses them.
He is given the authority to do this.I do not believe that Jesus was indicating what you have stated by this statement. He explains what he meant by the first statement by the second statement.
Which is:
Moses accuses you “because” or he uses “For”:
Quote John 5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. Love in Christ,

Two prophets?
Scripture does not speak of two prophets but two witnesses.God has never reused prophets before but it seems to be a popular myth

Hi J42:If you will read the scripture, Romans 10:19, it states that the provocation will be through those that are not a people and by a foolish nation he says, “I will anger you”, and he is speaking of this provocation coming through the gentile people that would become Christians. Moses spoke to the nation of Israel who were supposedly under the Law then but who were provoking Him to jealousy through their disobedience, and speaks to those who are supposedly under the Law now through those same scriptures. He, Moses has already spoken through those scriptures. He is not coming back to speak to the nation of Israel again.
Here is scripture relative to this provocation:
Quote
Romans 11King James Version (KJV)
11 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying,
3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.
11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.Revelation 11:7 And when *they* shall have
***finished their testimony***, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against **them**, and shall overcome **them**, **and kill them**.Revelation 11:8 ***And their dead bodies*** shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Are you saying those scriptures are false?

Lets see if others can read and see what's there. You have proven that you can not, or will not see.
For your info: Prophets are men that can die and be buried.
And also wear sackcloth. The moon can not be killed and lay
on the street and then revived with the spirit of life;and then taken up .You must be having me on. Because I am flabbergasted
