we should love God ,for good reasons and show that we believe in him ,deep down in our hearts ,love of God means that all things we do are of his acceptance and make his pleasure ,because God loves those who love him ,

it is impossible to someone to deeply love God and not produce the fruits there of ,so LOVE IS GREATER

Our own works will judge us,and Jesus makes the decision
Who works are evil. He is the referee.

wrong ,Christ as to do nothing ;it is his teaching (truth)that will condemn us ;were we will be judged we will not able to lie ,and so our conscience will condemn us ,for what we have done or not done that we should of and could ,
