DavidL,
We have so much confusion because many do not want to come out into the light though they want the name of doing so and because the house of Satan is divided against itself.
June 30, 2015 at 1:16 pm#800417NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
You exalt reason.
But it is a weak tool to make contact with carnal men.
It is useless beyond that point as only those of the Spirit are able to read what is spiritual
June 30, 2015 at 1:44 pm#800421kerwinParticipantNick,
You have no support for what you just wrote in Scripture and yet you continue to repeat those words. Why?
June 30, 2015 at 1:51 pm#800422NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Jesus did acknowledge the greeks.
But their language is of man and not of heaven
June 30, 2015 at 2:01 pm#800423NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Do you understand why od is the God of the living
and why this is unrelated to logic?
June 30, 2015 at 2:02 pm#800424kerwinParticipantNick,
Jesus is a Jew and his audience was Jews so there is no reason for him to acknowledge the Greeks.
He was interpenetrating Scripture in order to reveal that that the OT teaches there is a resurrection.
It is Jesus’ words and his words are not those of man but are instead those of heaven.
Be careful of what you say.
June 30, 2015 at 2:05 pm#800426NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Indeed his words are spirit and truth.
Why would you add in logic?
June 30, 2015 at 2:09 pm#800427kerwinParticipantNick,
Jesus was confident the Sadducees believed that “God is not the God of the dead” and since it is written “For no one remembers you in the realm of death, In Sheol who gives you thanks” (Psalms 6:5) I can see where that might be derived from through using logical reasoning.
June 30, 2015 at 2:12 pm#800428kerwinParticipantNick,
Hi KW,
Indeed his words are spirit and truth.
Why would you add in logic?
It is Jesus that choose to use logical reasoning not me. Your complaint is with him; so ask him.
My answer is you have been taught a falsehood and you grown overly fond of it.
June 30, 2015 at 2:29 pm#800430NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Just as the Trinitarian frames everything his way
you must find logic expressed somehow or you cannot accept truth?
June 30, 2015 at 2:34 pm#800431NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Before Abraham was I am.
Of course the eternal Spirit was before all things.
But
is this logical?
Does it have to fit through you logic filter?

I choose not to deny the truth.
As it sits any time you deride logic reasoning you deride Jesus and his students for using it.
You already know your teaching about logic is no of Scripture and yet you choose to hold to it. Why?

Yes, God is before all thing and the Spirit is his Spirit.
Jesus said “the scripture cannot be broken” and so everything in Scripture is logical which is why Jesus uses logical in more than one instance.

June 30, 2015 at 2:50 pm#800435NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Jesus preferred folks to be like kids
First believe and hope understanding follows.
June 30, 2015 at 2:55 pm#800437kerwinParticipantNick,
Logical reasoning is useless if you do not believe the premises so belief must come before logical reasoning reveals anything.
June 30, 2015 at 2:57 pm#800438kerwinParticipantNick,
Jesus taught us to be as innocent as a dove and as wise as a serpent. Children are regarded as innocent.
June 30, 2015 at 3:03 pm#800439NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Do you think that the information the Spirit gave Peter had to be filtered through logic?
June 30, 2015 at 3:14 pm#800440kerwinParticipantNick,
I can speculate on the mechanism but that is all since Scripture chose not to say.
June 30, 2015 at 3:21 pm#800443NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
The wind.
Where does it come from?
June 30, 2015 at 3:41 pm#800445kerwinParticipantNick,
The Spirit comes from God.
The wind is not different.
I assume you are referencing Jesus word’s which is more about the effects of the wind and how it is seen only by those effects.
