This is spritural not natural children or parents. In this day many of the children will rise up to kill the parents or elders thinking they will lose thier place in the world or church system. Though in the times ahead none will be able to stay the hand of our Father for He is a mighty God and all the world will know this for sure shorlty. AMEN   Marlin

Are such people really part of the churches though?
I might for example go to the library and read a book, but that doesn't make me a member.

Hi Marlin,
I suppose it depends on your definition of a local church. My point was that there are many smaller churches (as in bodies of believers) all over the world that make up the one body, i.e. the one true church in its collective sense.

God can renew our mind and our heart so satan no longer rules our mind and heart. Good news!

Romans 7:25Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin.

There is a battle going on inside of us as long as we are prisoners of this body of flesh. Our mind and heart are being renewed but the flesh tugs at us to go a different way to be comfortable and satisfied.

Being one with God in Christ should be real for all true believers. The scripture will only confirm what should be already true and real to the true child of God. This should not be something someone needs to tell you. Did you need to be told who your earthly parents were? Why would we need to be told who are heavenly Father was and that we are His.
So many think they choose Him when in truth He was the one who choose us in Christ long before we were even born in the flesh. The flesh is just the start of this journey. A ticket to play this game we call life in Christ. First the natural then the spritural. We all must come this way even Jesus had to. We all just like Jesus should have our Father say this is my son in whom I am well pleased as we all dwell in the one Son in whom He our Father in well pleased.

Jesus was a man born of a woman some 2000 years ago. He lived and learned and did things as a man just like us. We are born again by an incrutable seed by the word of God that lives and abides forever. All things came out from the one God. He speakes or expresess Himself and that is how He does or creates all things. He sent His word to save us. Jesus was the word made flesh an expresion of what was in the heart of the one true God. The man Jesus was not a man before He became a man. He was the word of God the seed or word was planted in Mary and became the man Jesus. Simple stuff. Flesh and blood does not enter in nor come from the kingdom of God. First the natural then the spritural. Jesus is our example let us all stick to the pattern. Peter said you are the Christ the son of the living God. Jesus said this is what the kingdom of God is built on. To many get hung up on the physcial man Jesus and never see the Christ of God. This is something God Himself must show you. So I believe you will believe what you want to until you either grow up or get truly born from above. Many are just children in the kingdom and as children do they fight to keep their place and kill all who would opose them. That is alright we were all children at one time. In the beginning was the word the scripture does not say in the beginning was this man named Jesus. Just some things to think about. But if you want it another way that is alright with me too. It does not matter if you agree with me in fact most dont and that is alright too.

Your earthly parents have nothing to do with being made new in Christ. They only made it possible for you to be in the clay vessel you posses. Those in the kingdom have put off the old man and put on the new. Either people are looking forward to a ressurection or in the past. Jesus said I am the ressurection.
If He is now your life then you have already been raised from amoung the dead in Adam to those who are alive in Christ. Now God is our Father and we have a whole new family made up of all those who have been made alive in Christ. So many only have hope in their flesh and can not see the truth of the scriptures.
