I had my brother read this thread, and here is what he said:

You guys remind me of two zebras arguing. One says he's a black horse with white stripes,
but the other insists he's a white horse with black stripes. While the two zebras are so engaged
with this MOST important discussion and trying to PROVE in fact of who's right, a pack of lions
seek up on them and???   Moral of the story… Who cares who's right, does it really matter?

the debate look to the owl and ask in unison… Who is right?

The owl says, when I purposed the question to God, He just looked at me and said to tell you two… YOU ARE WHAT YOU ARE, PERIOD!
“I KNEW IT! I was right after all.” Claimed the zebra who insisted he's a white horse with the black stripes. The other zebra says, what???
How's that. The zebra responded with complete confidence saying, “If God created us black with white stripes, he would have said…
YOU IS WHAT YOU IS, case closed; you see I was right and God just proved it!” See my brother is indicating that I was right all along!

Read the scripture, it says that there is “One God” and Father of all, who is above all (that includes Jesus). Jesus is the King. He sits on the throne of David as King over Israel. He is the only begotten Son of the Living God. We who are born again Christians are sons of God by the Spirit of adoption. We are subjected to God through the King. If the King is obeying God and we are obeying the King, are we then not also obeying God?

The “trinity doctrine” is a misunderstanding of scripture.

Do you agree with Jesus that the Lord God is One Lord?

If so then you cannot have two Lords and you should have only God as your Lord and God, but you call Jesus your Lord and God your Lord but that is not what Jesus instructed you to do.

As far as one of your Lords Jesus is concerned his actual teachings are in accor with the Quran. Jesus has only One Lord as that is THE SHEMA of ISRAEL.

You have two Lords, Now pay attention:

Matthew 7:21
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord(1), Lord(2), shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Notice ONLY those who do the Will of THE ONE LORD will enter the Kingdom of Heaven

So keep worshipping 2 lords and I'll keep Worshiping 1 Lord and God and we'll see who is right in the end

Therefore, there is only “One God”, but there can be more that one “Lord”.

As I said, Jesus is the King over Israel. God has anointed him so, and so, if he is obeying God, and we are obeying him, then we are also obeying God. You said Jesus was your Lord and then you said God was also your Lord that is two Lords

If someone asked you Who is your Lord, what would you say?

That doesn't answer the question if someone asked you who is your Lord what would you say?

By the way Jesus said this very important thing:

John 15:15
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Jesus is clearly saying I am not your Lord and I have explained to you about God. So if Jesus does not call you a servant how then can he be your Lord?

B'shem YHVH No ED You serve 2 Lords No, BD: Read the scripture, it says that there is “One God” and Father of all, who is above all (that includes Jesus).  Jesus is the King.  He sits on the throne of David as King over Israel.  He is the only begotten Son of the Living God.  We who are born again Christians are sons of God by the Spirit of adoption.  We are subjected to God through the King.  If the King is obeying God and we are obeying the King, are we then not also obeying God? The “trinity doctrine” is a misunderstanding of scripture. Love in Christ, Marty Do you agree with Jesus that the Lord God is One Lord? If so then you cannot have two Lords and you should have only God as your Lord and God, but you call Jesus your Lord and God your Lord but that is not what Jesus instructed you to do. Yes, I agree with the scripture which states: Quote Mar 12:29   And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments [is], Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:   Mar 12:30   And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment.   Mar 12:31   And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these Therefore, there is only “One God”, but there can be more that one “Lord”. Quote Mat 4:8   Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;   Mat 4:9   And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.   Mat 4:10   Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.   Quote Mat 28:18   And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.   Mat 28:19   Go ye therefore, and teach all nations … As I said, Jesus is the King over Israel.   God has anointed him so, and so, if he is obeying God, and we are obeying him, then we are also obeying God.  No man can be reconciled to God except through him.  He is the propitiation for our sins, and without his sacrifice there is no way that our sins can be forgiven. Love in Christ, Marty That doesn't answer the question if someone asked you who is your Lord what would you say? By the way Jesus said this very important thing: John 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Jesus is clearly saying I am not your Lord and I have explained to you about God. So if Jesus does not call you a servant how then can he be your Lord?

Jesus is my Lord, but he is not my God. I am subjected to God through him. His purpose in giving his life is that we might be reconciled to
God.
