Ephesians 6:12 Put you on the armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil. For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against authorities and powers, against the world-rulers of this dark night, against the spirits of evil in the heavens.
John 18:36Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.”

Revelations 12:7; And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven. So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him. And I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ, because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down, who accuses them day and night before our God! And they conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their witnessing, and they did not love their souls even in the face of death. On this account be glad, You heavens and You who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to You, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.”

Heb. “ra” translated “sorrow,” “wretchedness,” “adversity,” “afflictions,” “calamities,” but never translated sin. God created evil only in the sense that He made sorrow, wretchedness, etc., to be the sure fruits of sin.

Hi Bod,Youngs literal translation:
Exodus 34:14; for ye do not bow yourselves to another god —
for Jehovah, whose name is Zealous, is a zealous God…zealous [ˈzɛləs] ….filled with or inspired by intense interest enthusiasm or zeal; The fervor or tireless devotion for a person, cause, or ideal and determination in its furtherance; powerful interest, ardor, intensity, passion ,conviction, persistence, belief.
Okay, so is that the name of God “Zealous”.You worship, Zealous?
Zealous had a son?

Karmarie,I am trying to demostrate to you that the bible scripture says if you sin that you are not born of God and yet you want to manipulate what it says.
I asked you is that scripture correct or not. so is it?
I asked you did God Authorize Satan to do whatever he does if he Authorized it he created/allowed it and therefore God owns the world and is The God of this world as Jesus points out There is only ONE TRUE GOD.
Therefore Jehovah/ALLAH is The God of this World and HE LOVES THIS WORLD.

The scripture is correct, but it means that if someone is practicing wilfully they are not born of God, but they are children of the devil. Someone who is born of God obeys the commandments that have come to humanity from God through his Son and His Christ, but we all make mistakes, and so we do sin if only inadvertantly. And so, the scripture does not mean what you are trying to imply.
Quote 1 John 2:5This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
Quote 1 John 2 1My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
Quote 1 John 3 1Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
4Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
7Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother
Quote Hebrews 10: 26For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
And so, does this answer your question?

So you feel a need to try to clarify a direct statement? So now you say that you do sin but yet are still of God
and althougth the scripture says “Ye are gods” you say that you are not a god. Why are you not a god?Jesus said “Be perfect” yet you seem to suggest that you cannot be perfect as Jesus said you could. Karmarie said that she is not perfect so why is she being disobedient to Christ. Are you perfect? Jesus told you to be perfect so are you obedient to Jesus and Perfect or will you need to further concede that the Bible requires a lot of clarity?
The Quran has no such difficulty, it is clear.

You say the Quran has no difficulty with sin and is clear, so why does it say it is ok to be a martyr and kill? Did Jesus not say.. Turn the other cheak? Love thy neighbour? I could go on and on..
(But i havent got the time:)

Do you know what anthropomorphism is?Anthropomorphism is the attribution of human characteristics to, or, some would argue[1][2], recognition of human characteristics in, non-human creatures and beings, phenomena, material states and objects or abstract concepts. Examples include animals and plants and forces of nature such as winds, rain or the sun depicted as creatures with human motivation able to reason and converse.
In religion and mythology, anthropomorphism refers to the perception of a divine being or beings in human form, or the recognition of human qualities in these beings.
Criticism
The Greek philosopher Xenophanes (570–480 BC) said that “the greatest god” resembles man “neither in form nor in mind.”[1] Anthropomorphism of God is rejected by Judaism and Islam, which both believe that God is beyond human limits of physical comprehension. Judaism's rejection grew after the advent of Christianity until becoming codified in 13 principles of Jewish faith authored by Maimonides in the 12th Century.[citation needed]Do you understand that you know what a Father is and what it looks like but you do not know God in that way.
It may help you form a relationship with God and if so that's fine but God is greater than any Father you could imagine.
Just to explain to you wisdom consider that the Catholic Church at the time of Muhammad and even today call their priests Father. So if we call God “Father” and call priests Father what do you think that leads to?
Imagine children praying “our Father” and then calling a priest with reverence “Father” isn't that putting the authority of the priest on par with God?
No wonder in Christianity when their is a rogue “Father” people often turn away from God.
God is beyond human comprehension so why try to belittle Him. Besides God really did not Father you, he created you.
It really simply is a matter of GREATNESS Islam and now even Judaism agree that God is beyond applying human attributions to Him
Now I must ask you is God a Man? If God is your Father is he not your Mother too?
God made male and female in His image so is HE either?

Well I guess it goes to show that we have an advocate which is from God who actually knows what its like to be a human! AMEN I think thats great so call it what you will….anthropomorphism…whatever,
God is love.you said
Quote consider that the Catholic Church at the time of Muhammad and even today call their priests Father. So if we call God “Father” and call priests Father what do you think that leads to? Catholics who call the Pope 'Father' have ignored exactly what Jesus said….to call no man on earth your Father for you have but one Father who is in Heaven… you know Catholicism doesnt represent all of Christianity.
You say
Quote God is beyond human comprehension so why try to belittle Him. Besides God really did not Father you, he created you .
God is love.
What do you mean by belittle? By calling him Father? You say
Quote Now I must ask you is God a Man? If God is your Father is he not your Mother too?… God made male and female in His image so is HE either? God is Spirit.

ParticipantBy the way Bod, what I said earlier regarding sin, I was talking about now. My past is something else.
Prior to learning the ways of the Lord, I knew the basics (Though shalt not murder etc) and tried my best, but there were areas where I didnt do well. I was bad. I played the victim felt sorry for myself and lived in sorrow, I held grudges ran people down, joined in fights, rubbished people, I spent most of my time with friends drinking, cursing, I caused trouble, suffered jealousy, anger, I coveted what others had but I didnt, all of it was sin, but then as I learned the ways of God I changed day by day, and now that I know these things, why would I want to ever (I mean ever) go back to those ways, that way of living and thinking? (It wasnt nice).
The bible says that without the shedding of blood theres no redemption of sins. Jesus blood was shed once and for all for all mankind to have that opportunity, the blood of Jesus washed those sins for me though iv only just started to realise this, I will never be perfect but I will continue to try my best as long as I live
Im only human, I have my moments, angry outbursts for an example, but I know that the advocate of Jesus understands and anger comes less and less and is easier to manage, things which used to really upset me no longer do, and for the harder things – I pray.

ParticipantI cant believe I put that there. Anyways, when I used the words 'played the victim' I just found out that means something different than I thought, it should say 'was the victim…and felt sorry for myself” But thats all past and is things Id rather not talk about especially on an internet forum. Its just the questions you ask, saying theres no forgivness? Saying everyone has to have always been perfect,
1st John 1:10; If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
Ecclesiastes; There is no man on earth of such righteousness that he does good and is free from sin all his days.
Romans 3:23; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
So are you perfect? Do you have a perfect past?

I accept your testimony and conviction and believe and yet you seem to think mines is invalid. Why is that?I do not have to be wrong for you to be right.
Moses was just as right as Jesus and Muhammad was just as right as Joshua or Abraham.
It is God who guides and judges.

Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
Matthew 11:10-12Jesus said be perfect, are you Perfect?
You can't ask me the question because you said that you go exclusively by what Jesus said whereas I have said I get clarification from The Quran.

To you, Jesus was just a Man, to me he is more than just a man, who was his father? Was it a man? It was the Holy Spirit… so those verses you put dont fit.You said “did Jesus sin?”
He was a lamb without blemish..
If you go on to say he sinned by his display of anger at the money lenders of the temple, it was righteous anger. As was the harsh words spoken to the scribes, pharisees and like. Anger at the right things isnt wrong.
Ephesians 4: 26;.. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: . Neither give place to the devil.
Why do you continue to get parts from the bible to suit the Quran but ignore those which disagree with it? The Quran came much later than the Bible, than the teachings of our Lord and master Jesus, it was written by a man and like iv said- who was he to call Jesus a liar?

So you say the Holy Spirit is a MAN?If not why call the HOLY SPIRIT “Father” ?
Does righteous anger include:
But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
Luke 19:26-28If you agree with that verse why dispute that Jesus authorizes this slaying here?

Muhammad never called Jesus a liar so why make up false allegations against him?Look at most of you here you have hatred between yourselves and then you reject Islam as well, what a rotten tree with rotten fruit.
You yourself pretended to love Muslims just to try to trick them but your kind of love is short lived the fact is I still love you whether you love me or not, I know you think you heart is in the right place.
Do you love Muhammad?

Who was those verses pertaining to 700 years before Muhammad or do they suddenly mean something after 700 years did you not read this:Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
1 John 2:17-19Who was this verse speaking of Muhammad was born 700 years after but it says “EVEN NOW”
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
2 John 1:6-8This also cannot pertain to Islam, so is your filth in your own backyard? Why do you attribute your own apostates with Islam.
Islam says: Jesus Christ is come in the flesh
Many of you say that this was God or that Jesus was before hw was flesh but Islam says Jeus Christ is come in the flesh.
the fact is most Christians are anti-christ believing instead that Christ is God and you are no different worshiping the Christ as God

Bod, this is a debate forum- why? Because you have trinitarians trying to push their views when all along this is supposed to be a non trinitarian believers forum….then you have such as yourself, a Muslim on a Christian forum trying to push Islam to people, you say love is short lived here, do you see yourself? You are friendly to those who choose to listen to you and agree with you, then when they start to disagree, you are different, so before you judge others, have a good look at yourself, in case you dont know we are in the last days, do you think the last days will be easy? Do you think that in Islam its all different? They are killing each other, iv been on Muslim forums and it seems no different, Muslim people fight too…go on mnay Christian forums (other ones) and you will see love and encouragment and kindness, dont judge all by just one forum. As for me iv seen the truth and if I seem angrier toward you its because I see the lies your trying to teach people and I cant tolerate it. The way you twist scriptures to suit yourself accept some, throw away the rest, even believe some to make a point even though you dont in fact believe it..If anyone has changed its you. Youve changed because no-one is listening to you anymore, im not listening. Now you try to say I pretended to love Muslims just to try and trick them- why do you say things like that? Why make up lies? Thats exactly what I believe you did to me!I think the best thing for me is to avoid all of this because for everything I say you say something else Quran verses Bible, it will go on and on and on. You dont want to learn anything you just want to convert Christians to Islam thats all.
Take care Bod. And yes I still love you.

This is a parable, its Jesus telling the story of a nobleman…Jesus is not telling anyone to kill anyone he is telling a story,“all [these] things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and [their] sins should be forgiven them. (Mark 4:9..
This is the sword of Jesus;
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Eph 6:17; Hbr 4:12
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.(1Cr 2:14..
