Hi Georg,
Scripture does not contradict.
The tribunal of Christ is of blessing unless we have buried the talent.November 10, 2009 at 11:45 pm#155941NickHassanParticipantHi Georg,
The white throne judgement follows the second resurrection-involving ALL who are still in their graves. All in Christ who produce a crop of fruit from the investment of God's Spirit are granted the roles of kings and priests in the millenium [Lk19, Mt25, Rev20]and the joy of eternal life, in the earlier tribunal of Christ.

NickI agree, scripture does not contradict, but you did not say what Mat. 25:21 or Luke 19:17 mean to you.

The sons of God raised in the first resurrection become kings and priests ruling with Christ and given responsibilities according to the profit they have gained for God from the investment of His Spirit.November 10, 2009 at 11:52 pm#155945georgParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Nov. 11 2009,10:45) Hi Georg,

NickOK, so we agree, the second resurrection is for all who are still in their graves.
Now, you say, “all who produce a crop of fruit”, will enjoy eternal life, I agree. The question I have for you is; how will they be able to produce that fruit?Georg

The Spirit is given as an earnest and that oil does light the lamp but unless we stay awake and keep seeking more the lamp will go out before it is needed.[Mt25]
The Spirit produces fruit if we seek the will of God and let the Spirit control our lives[Mt6, Gal5]November 11, 2009 at 12:09 am#155948georgParticipantNick
I was talking about those in the second resurrection.

Grace is abundant for those that are in Christ Jesus.
Can you focus on the matters at hand?

Did you not see grace? It is too easy to find fault with others.

Perhaps language is a problem?November 12, 2009 at 3:42 pm#156236georgParticipantNick
Since you don't answer my question, I can only assume what you meant.
You say that the grace of God will allow some to enter the kingdom of God, because God will forgive them out of the goodness of his heart, is that correct?
I can not even begin to think why you would believe that. Just who would you say would qualify for such generous treatment? What sin would you say is not bad enough, not to deserve death?
Grace is God's undeserved forgiveness for our sins, but it is not automatic, or by God's choice, it is for Christs sake that God will forgive us. Christ is OUR sacrifice for our sins, and only if we believe in his atoning death, confess our sins, will God forgive us.
So I'm asking you again, by what works do you think will those that come up in the second resurrection, get their name into the book of life? and don't bring up Mat. 25 again. I am talking about people that lived before Jesus came, like, the Egyptians, the Assyrians, the Babylonians, the Persians, the Greek, the Romans, and all those barbarian nations, the Huns, the Muslim Turks, and all the rest; they too will be resurrected, they are all included in the once who are in their graves and shall come forth.
Now, if I did not make myself clear, let me know and I try it in another languish.Georg

We do know of the specified mercy of God.
If only those who entered by the gate of Jesus were saved it would be very few.
But a great multitude is seen in Revelation. The works specified in Mt 25 are works of kindness to the brothers of Jesus.
They did not expect salvation, are not brothers but know by now Jesus is the Lord.'Lord. When did we see you…..?”
” To the extent you did it for one of these brothers of mine, even the least of them, you did for me”

NickHow did they hear about Jesus, in their graves?
You know who I'm talking about, I mentioned them all for you, how did they do any good to others, by cutting their throat?Georg
