Yes, I looked at the charts, and although the Nation of Israel existing as a nation at this time is definitely prophetical, I do not believe that you can ascribe “a time, times and 1/2 a time” to the fact that they do exist as a nation.  

I gather that you are getting the formula “a day =1000 Years” from the following scripture:

The scriptures in Daniel 8 reference to the desecrating of the sanctuary are referring to Antiochius Ephipanes, and the temple was cleansed, from whence the Jews celebrate the festival of lights.

But the 42 months here refer to an end time event when the saints will be given over to the Anti-Christ for this period of time.
