Hello,
I had a thought flash through my mind today as I was contemplating this passage in Hebrews 7:Quote 3 Without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, he remains a priest perpetually. This distinctly says that the Son of God is without genealogy. We know that the Son of Man has a geneology…see Matthew 1. Doesn't that tell us that the Messiah as the Son of God had a different beginning than the Messiah as the Son of Man?
I think this would make a problem for those who believe that the Messiah as the Son of God is only also the Son of Man. I suggest that the Son of God existed from the beginning and the Son of Man began in Mary. The Son of God existed beforehand and came to dwell within the Son of Man. My opinion.
What do you think?
