Hi,
Some say the role of the church is to change our society by influencing laws and social mores. They seem to believe that Jesus came to make the world a better place for all to live in by such means.

Involvement in politics is a means that some are using to try to bring about these changes.

Is this a direction from our Master or is it just another distraction from our real tasks?

2 Timothy 2:4
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
