Hi Georg,
You say
“Water is symbolic for the truth of God; Jesus said,John 7:37 “… if any man thirst let him come unto me, and drink “.
v. 38 “ He that believeth on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living waters”.But scripture says
Jn7
37In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.38He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

You offer
“This, according to historical events, the seven seals have been opened; the seven trumpets have been blown, and the seven bowls have been poured out. “Thank you for your interesting opinion.

You are very welcome?
I wonder for what, I guess you don't really care, do you?Georg

Why do you make personal attacks?
Sheeps clothing hides wolves and yet that is your accusation.January 9, 2009 at 1:34 am#116976TiffanyParticipantYou got your sides mixed up.

January 9, 2009 at 1:51 am#116978NickHassanParticipantHi Georg,
Are there sides?
Is this a carnal contest? We serve best when we are invisible.
I do not think the wrath of God has been or will be expressed against earth while his sons live here.

Do you think you are invisible? just how many times does your name appear?
Your answer shows me you have not read my post.Georg
January 9, 2009 at 2:47 am#116985NickHassanParticipantHi Georg,
So back to the subject at hand.
I do not think you have proven your arguments about the wrath of God.1 Thessalonians 1:10
And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.January 9, 2009 at 3:15 am#116989TiffanyParticipantNick
The wrath to come is God wrath on the entire world.
Zec 12:2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
Zec 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.How far do you think we are away from the next verse?
Zec 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
God will allow his people to be punished one last time.
Zec 14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
Zec 12:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.Come or are against his people; is there any nation that is not against Israel?
You see, this is what God says.Jer 25:29 For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the LORD of hosts.
Jer 25:30 Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth. This is the wrath yet to come, and I truly believe we are witnessing the beginning of the end.

January 9, 2009 at 3:24 am#116991NickHassanParticipantHi Georg,
But you tell us the wrath of God has been expressed already in the seven trumpets and seven bowls?January 9, 2009 at 3:45 am#116994TiffanyParticipantNick
Do they appear the same to you? If you had read it you would have noticed that every bowl is a different punishment, at different times.
Georg
January 9, 2009 at 3:47 am#116995NickHassanParticipantHi Georg,
If they are the wrath of God why would His sons suffer?January 9, 2009 at 10:42 am#117005TiffanyParticipantNick
Sorry, don't understand your question.

The sons of God are not destined for His wrath.January 9, 2009 at 11:30 pm#117039TiffanyParticipantNick
Rev 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
That great city is Rome, with the pope sitting on his throne, he does no longer rule over the kings of the earth, but he used to. His church, and doctrines is the Babylon the Bible speaks of.
Rev 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,The beast was Rome, meaning government, the image is the Roman Catholic church; the mark are her doctrines; if you live by them, and believe them, any one of them, you have received her mark. We are to come out of her.
Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Rev 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
Rev 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
Rev 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
Rev 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. This is the wrath of God yet to come, and it matters little what you call yourself, if you have received a mark, live by, or believe in any of her doctrines, you are not God's people.

Thank you for your opinions.
The connection between the beast and the image and the mark with The Whore are not clear.January 10, 2009 at 9:33 pm#117117TiffanyParticipantNick
You have to take your time reading it, understanding doesn't come at a glance.

The same understanding of your views may never come.January 11, 2009 at 12:10 am#117133TiffanyParticipantNick
Not as long as they are looked at with a negative attitude instead with an open mind.

January 11, 2009 at 6:42 am#117169NickHassanParticipantHi georg,
You say but do not explain WHY you believe these aspects“The beast was Rome, meaning government,”
WHY?the image is the Roman Catholic church; WHY?
the mark are her doctrines;WHY?
if you live by them, and believe them, any one of them, you have received her mark.” HMMM
