There seems to be conflicting views on the return of Jesus – so I would like to start a thread on it.

Ed J said Jesus returned at pentecost, and t8 replied, quote:

    Quote
Ed J, if you believe that Jesus has already returned, then when he does return, will you join the armies of the world and attack him thinking he is your enemy?

    Will post more later.

    Hi 2Besee,

Why did you post T8's quote, as it started with “IF”,
    making it a question that calls for speculation;
NOT admissible in a U.S. court of “LAW”.

    Hi Ed
I'm having difficulty using my new phone. It's so small (3.5″ and the screen size is even smaller). I'm used to using a laptop.
It's hard to quote and to type and go from screen to screen.
It's taking me about half an hour or longer to make a short post,
    :D
Android keyboard makes mistakes and i have to use a off line NotePad, then try and copy and paste that plus any scripture.
    I'm getting there!

So Ed, if I'm making mistakes in how I'm quoting, it's not my fault!

No, you're quoting an irrelevant quote. “If”
there is something you wish to say, please do so. :D

Because that premise – calling for speculation – is dead in the water

    Ed J,
I have no idea what you are saying exactly, nevertheless, regarding the return of Jesus:

Jesus has NOT returned, he is still to come, unless you or anyone else can (somehow) prove otherwise.

    Hi 2Besee,

“If” you don't understand biblical language,
Satan will run you ragged trying to apply
physical meanings to the spiritual truth.

He'll have you turn one thing into many different meanings.
The bible is full of replication, so as to get his meanings across to the reader.
But sometimes it takes one to explain the big picture, to see how the various pieces fit together.

    Hi Ed.
    Questions:

    1) Where is Jesus?
    2) If Jesus IS here now, what do YOU believe regarding the Holy Spirit?

    Hi 2Besee,

Of course Jesus hasn't returned in physical form, and he ain't gonna either. (see 2Cor.5:16 and John 16:10)
But Jesus has returned in “Spiritual Form” to those who look for him. (see Heb.9:27 and Luke 11:9)

…just like he did for the 5,000 on “Pentecost” day!

“Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” (Romans 8:9)

    Hi 2Besee,

    1) Sitting at the father's right hand – in the hearts of believers who have been baptized with God's HolySpirit.
    2) The “HolySpirit” is GOD The FATHER'S OWN SPIRIT, just like the spirit of Christ is Jesus' own Spirit.

“Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence:
shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?” (Heb 12:9)

The “Holy\Spirit” is a spirit right? And there is only two spots open in Heb.12:9.

    1. The Father of spirits.     -OR-
    2. The spirits that the Father is father of.
I say the correct choice is NUMBER 1; what say you?

    Hi 2Besee,

Since that question may be to difficult for you, let me ask it this away:
Which of those two choices would you say Jesus' spirit is?
This way I say #2 – Jesus is “THE SON” of God?

Asking the SAME question this way presents great difficulty for you,
because “The Father” is obviously the father of Jesus! Do you agree?

    Ed,

It is a hypothetical that assumes your words are true at a certain level so that reasoning from that point can continue. It is used in both math and logical reasoning to test if a variable is sound.

    Hi Kerwin,

The fallacy is believing in a false flesh return of Jesus.
Of course we can examine all the evidence to see if Christ returned in “spirit form”.

    Hi Kerwin,

Ghost refers to disembodied spirits of the deceased.
The “HolySpirit” is the father of the spirit of Jesus.
    (see Matt.1:18, Matthew 1:20, and Luke 1:35)

NO,the holy spirit his not the father of Jesus Christ ,scriptures do not say that ,THAT IS WHAT YOU MAKE UP IN YOUR MIND ,

YOU SEEM NOT TO BELIEVE CHRIST WEN HE SAID THAT HE COMES FROM ABOVE AND THAT HE WILL RETURN TO HIS FATHER ,

AS A REMINDER TO YOU ;TWO THINGS WHERE INVOLVED INTO THE CONCEPTION OF JESUS THE SON OF GOD ;ONE IS THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE OTHER “THE POWER OF GOD “”

    I AM ALREADY SICK TO THE ANSWER YOU CAN MAKE UP WITH THIS ;
