The great end times story:

I have studied and written about Jeremiah 25. It confirms the Day of wrath: 15-38. Verses 1-14 apply to the Jews and have been fulfilled.

The whole reason for what has happened and what will happen, is for God to establish a people who will 'be a light to the nations and display My glory for all the nations to see. Ezekiel 39:21-29 Read that carefully.

‘Hide yourselves until the Lord’s wrath has passed by’. – A clear instruction from the Lord.
‘Open the gates, let a righteous people enter’ – The Lord’s people, all the righteous Israelites, be they true descendants of Jacob or grafted in by faith, will enter their heritage soon after all the holy Land is cleared and cleansed by the fire of His judgement/punishment. All true Christian peoples, all those ‘who desire His Laws and look forward to the time they will prevail upon the earth’, will gather and go to live in all of the Promised Land. ‘Lord, You have enlarged the Nation’. – Isaiah 49:20 says how the large numbers of people who will emigrate to all of the holy Land, say: Make room for us to live here, this place is too small! Nick, like most Christians, you can't see the correct sequence of events.
Your quote from Matt 24, occurs at the mid point of the last 7 years. This is after the AC has taken control of the OWG.
But before that there comes the Day of the Lord's wrath, the 6th Seal, that will change the world. Read Rev 7 again. It comes just after the 6th Seal – the seals must be removed before a scroll can be opened. The Lord's righteous people, from every race and tongue, will gather in all of the holy Land.
Note that verse 14 does NOT refer to the Great Tribulation of the Trumpets and Vials, only to the 6th Seal 'ordeal', as translated in my REB. The Isaiah 26 warning applies to the 6th Seal also.
The Matt 6 quote is to do with the sin of making a show of prayer, as the Pharisees did.

Rev 7 divides the people in two groups-The jewish 144.000 remnant and the huge number taken out of the great tribulation.

Nick, can't you read what I post? I point out many scriptures that say only true righteous Christians will go to live in the Promised Land. Only 24,000 will be Jews,- 12,000 from each of the 2 tribes of Judah and Benjamin. The other, many millions are from the Lost tribes and those grafted in. At the last count, there were only approx. 15,000 Messianic Jews in Israel.
Do not think Rev 7:14 refers to the Great Tribulation. That is a translators error, because Rev 7 comes just after the Sixth Seal terrible, worldwide fire judgement. Then comes the 'about 20 years' time gap until the G.T.

I do not believe so but suggest they retell the same story from various different standpoints

That would mean considerable overlapping over events described.

The gospel preaching-Rev 11 , 14.6,
Political events in the whole world
Events directly involving Israel
