Quote (bodhitharta @ Feb. 10 2010,04:27) I am skeptical of atheists and I am sceptical of “people of religion” that treat people who believe as if they are atheist.
Skepticism is good. You should expect a person's truth claims to stand up to scrutiny.Have you been able to be skeptical about your own claims too?

Yes, I was completely sceptical about religion in general, sort of like Kejonn where I rejected what I was taught and became sceptical out of the desire to freely decide for myself.February 10, 2010 at 10:12 am#176883StuParticipantQuote (bodhitharta @ Feb. 10 2010,08:31) Quote (Stu @ Feb. 10 2010,05:41) Quote (bodhitharta @ Feb. 10 2010,04:27) I am skeptical of atheists and I am sceptical of “people of religion” that treat people who believe as if they are atheist.

But now you are no longer skeptical since you converted, right?I am skeptical about things like evolution by natural selection: one false move and it is gone, in my opinion. In 151 years it has made no false moves.
Does the fact that no one else can hear or see your god quite the way you do, and very large numbers of people cannot hear or see your god at all, not cause you to critically analyse why you believe in it?
