Did Jesus Appear in the Old Testament?

    (Melchizedek Mystery Revealed?)

No, he did not exist until Matthew 1:18.

Of course God foreknew him but foreknowledge is not someone else’s existence

    @sonofgod

Should I believe you or the scripture?

    John 8:58
“I tell you the truth,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!“

    Jude 1:25
to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

    Colossians 1:17
He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

    John 1:3
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

    Colossians 1:15-18
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

    Hi,

    Heb 1-1

God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days

HAS SPOKEN TO US IN HIS SON,

whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.

Do you yet hear God speaking in the Son?

Yes, God sent the prophets and they were ignored and abused. Finally, God sent his son into the world. He is the ultimate judgement because how men treat the son is the level of respect they have for God. He sent his son into the world that the world might be saved through him.

    Hi,

Hear The Father speaking through His Chosen Vessel.

    “Before Abraham was I am”

So God wanted people to know that he existed before Abraham? lol.

    You believe that?

    Hi T8,

Yes the Word was made flesh

The Word was with God and was God.

    The Word became Jesus Christ.

But flesh contributes nothing it is all about the Spirit.

    Hi,

And you too can know the Spirit of the Son.

Yes, we can all be one by spirit in God. With each other and primarily with Christ we can all be one with God. This unity will result in love for each other and love for God. Not lip service, but true love. Jesus said that many would come saying: “I am the Christ” and would deceive many. And not all who say lord lord shall enter the kingdom. But those who do the will of the Father which is to love God and our fellow man. For the forner we will be obedient, and for the latter we will treat with respect as to the respect we give ourself. Our lives are short, too short to let pride eat the years away.

    Hi T8,

indeed for your sake and others it would be good if you started to hear the voice of the Spirit in the mouths of God’s servants.

Out of the mouth comes what the heart is full of and we only hear tradition.

Humble yourself and submit your mind to the Word.

You judge another man’s servant? I belong to the one who was born the Christ and the Lord. You can judge all you like, but you will have to stand before the real judge. My advice is to make that day as good as possible. The bar you set in your judgement of me will be applied to you and I am concerned for you in that respect.

    Hi T8,

It is no judgement against you though your service seems to be towards tradition

But an observation that when you  hear the voice of the Spirit in scripture you will be really useful to God..

    Hi t8,

You certainly are not alone in denying that the Spirit spoke through Jesus Christ.

It s the mst popular error in the past 2000 years and explains the diversity of false dogmas that arise from it, trinity, preexistence etc.

Do you deny the work of the Spirit through the apostles and prophets too?

    Hi t8,

    Acts 28.25

‘..Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers

”For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes are closed:

lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should

    heal them”

    Heb 1.1

“God, Who at sundry times, and in divers manners, spake in times past unto the fathers by the prophets,

hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son..”

T8….A test for you, tell us who said this, was it Jesus or GOD THE FATHER speaking through him.

John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.

Was it Jesus who raised himself up, or was it GOD THE FATHER, SEENING Jesus was dead those three days.

T8, Do you have ears to hear who was the one speaking?

Peace and love to you and yours. …….gene

    Hi,

Because the family origins of Melchizedek are not recorded the writer of Hebrews cleverly uses this fact to compare him to the Son of God.
