Rev 13:1 ¶ And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Now you know this beast did not come up out of the Ocean, it is the Roman beast/kingdom, one of the seven heads, verse 2. And how did Rome become such a great beast/kingdom? by conquering other kingdoms.
Think about it, why are the four empires, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greek, and Rome, compared to beasts? Lion, Bear, Leopard and a great and terrible one, is it not because they behaved like those beasts?

Rev 13:11 ¶ And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

This beast was no beast or king when he first got started. He did not come out of the sea of nation, he was no nation, he came out of all the people/earth that were ruled over by a beast, Rome.
What does the lamb remind you of? is not Jesus called the Lamb of God, John 1:29?
This “lamb” is the impostor, the Antichrist. He tried to appear as Christ, but what he spake, his doctrines, was like the devil.
Isaiah 17:12 conquers what I said, nations are compared to sea.
And the same with Rev. 17:15, the many waters are the different nations, and the whore, Antichrist, sits, has influenced them all with her false doctrine.

You are saying the beast did “NOT” come up out of the “SEA”.

    Scripture states he does!:

Rev 13:1 ¶ And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

    There it is!

Earth – Sparsely populated area (opposite of water/sea, see below) (compare Rev 13:1,11)

    Waters (Sea) – Peoples/Multitudes/Nations/Languages (Isa 17:12, Rev 17:15)

Sea or Waters represents multitudes of peoples. It is the place where Satan lives.
The waters … are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues (Revelation 17: 1,15).
The wicked are like a troubled sea. (Isaiah 57: 20).
The noise of the sea, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people. (Psalm 65: 7).
    Isaiah 17: 12, 13.
    Jeremiah 51: 41, 42.
    Daniel 7: 2. [/QUOTE]

The beast out of the earth could be the United States, it come up out of nothing, Rome did not. The United states came up out of a few people (13 little tiny colonies).

The first Beast sounds more like Rome, the second Beast sounds more like the United States, it started of as a lamb (The USA was formed from those leaving Tyranny and Religious oppression). And now it speaks like a dragon (A Superpower).

    Rome came out of Rome.

No, it depends on whether some one really once to learn.
I did not get the understanding by “not” asking questions, or by “not” doing research.

    Hi Georg,
Your understanding seems to be faulty and incomplete but you cannot see that?

    Nick

Do I have to beg you to show me were I am faulty, were I am wrong?
Does any one know “Glenn Beck”? he is a commentator on Fox News, I am a big fan of him, he seems to be the only one that can see right through this administrations “transparency” that is so dark, it don't even cast a shadow.
    He has a slogan,
    “Question with Boldness”
    “Hold to the truth”
    “Speak without fear”
He is being attacked for the very thing that every body should be doing, with hate mail, death threats, smear campaigns, lies, they are all part of his daily routine now, and why, for speaking the truth.
It seems that people have something against truth. I realized that I had followed that slogan, before I knew Glenn Beck.
“I questioned with boldness”, I stood up to ministers and questioned the content of their sermon, after only listen to me for maybe a minute, they rudely turned away and started talking to other parishioners; one was cordious enough and ended our conversation with, “Lets just agree, we disagree”.
But knowing the truth, “I held to the truth”. I have done so since I came on this website, and I shall continue to hold to the truth, and to “speak without fear”.
I have received nothing but rejection, accusation, and ridicule, Glenn has a phone in his studio, a direct line to the White House, challenging the president to call him and correct him when he is wrong in his reporting, the phone was installed about two month ago, it hasn't rung once.
I figure if Glenn can take the insults for truth sake, so can I.
I don't have a special phone, but I have challenged many of you to prove me wrong, even if I had a phone, it would not have rung once.
