Romans 10:13-14 King James Version (KJV)
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
The step by step procedure before we can be saved.
The very essential procedures in making us the true believers of Christ.
As what have known, they were plenty of preachers roaming around the world. Each leading preacher has their own prescriptions about the will of God.
Jesus Christ and his apostles have warned us long time ago. “There shall be false preachers and false Christ coming up in this world, deceiving people as many as they can. One of their mission is keeping the people of the world for not knowing the one and only true God. (2-Cor. 10:4-5 NLT)
5. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God.
How we could determine who is the true preachers among them?

Who has the light when they spoke the words of God?
Isaiah 8:20 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
20 To the law and to the testimony! If they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.The true preachers sent by God, spoke in accordance with the law and testimony. There is no light in them if they spoke not according to it.
So, what is the law and the testimony?
10And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
The testimony is the spirit of the prophecy.
The preachers of the words of God, must be having the prophecy for them as their testimony that they are the true messengers of God, to says the things of God, for the people in this world.
We go to the 1st century and act like an observers. (like we have used the time machine) the time is the time of John the Baptist. What is the testimony of the John the Baptist? What he had answers to the people who asking him who is he?
19Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?” 20He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.” 21And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.” 22Then they said to him, “Who are you, that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?” 23He said: “I am 'The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Make straight the way of the LORD,”' as the prophet Isaiah said.” (Ref:John 1:19-24 NKJV.)
John the Baptist have his own testimony by showing his divine credential that he is the true messenger of God, have light in his works by mentioning the spirit of the prophecy in the book of prophet Isaiah.
Isaiah 40:3 NKJV.
3The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the LORD; Make straight in the desert A highway for our God.
How about the testimony of our Lord ans savior Jesus Christ and apostle Paul?
Jesus Christ has so many prophecy as his divine credential that he is the true messenger of God. He uttered it in the synagogue.
The apostle Paul also have his prophecy as his testimony and a divine credential as the true messenger of God.
How about the so many preachers here on earth nowadays, what is there testimony or prophecy written in the Bible for them?
It should not be taken for granted. It is a serious matter. We must hear the gospel from the true preachers of God, or we could not see the light on them.
God as done what as to be done ,and that is the speading of his word through the entire world ,
first through people he wake up ,then through new invention like the printing machine ,wen the publiction of the scriptures was send to the people it was like ” “A farmer went out to sow his seed.
Mt 13:4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up.
Mt 13:5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow.
Mt 13:6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root.
Mt 13:7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants.
Mt 13:8 Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.

Terraricca,The farmer who sow the seed (words of God) is Jesus and the apostles.
Jesus, now is in heaven and the apostles were in the graveyard.
Their successors have changed the truth about God, and made the disciples to follow the perverse things they have injected into to the minds of the remaining cowards servants. (Ref: Acts 20:29-30 / 1 Tim. 4:1-4 NKJV).
The time goes by and the modern generation come out. The Original Holy Scriptures could not be found. Only the translated manuscript in Greek and Hebrews are available.
The businessmen in the Christian world scramble in doing their own translations resulting to many versions of the Bible.
And causing so many fatal interpretations with the Bible verses and some serious contradiction on their works but it shall continue in sharing it to all the people of the world.
People really forgotten the very important essence of the true preachers of the words of God.
Satan (the enemy of God planting weed) capitalizing the different translations of the Bible and having happy moment in deceiving the world through his chosen men to be the so called false preachers and false prophets.
Result: Thousands of Christian religious groups around the world.
The big problem is, how we could recognize the true chosen people of God, among the so called thousands of professing Christian groups?

LJDoes the preacher have to be from a church?
As not all who preach are church members. Some are just simple quiet folk who know their Lord and will take the opportunity to speak to whomever, when God presents the timing and with whom.

Always compare what they are saying to the Word of God.

This is when God by his holy spirit has opened up the scriptures to us fully, feeding us on his word, going deeper into the prophesies, and discerning the exact timing of those prophesies, whether they be past or future, and seeing the clear picture, not in part, but full view of events to come and what must come before those events, and whom will attack, and which war, and what happens to them, and so forth, right up to the end of the millennium.
AND CONNECTING THESE SCRIPTURES SO THAT IT FLOWS, WITHOUT ANY CONTRADICTIONS.But people with the Spirit of Prophecy are always rejected, just like the prophets in the old days, they were never accepted then, and they will never be accepted now. Not even the two witnesses (prophets) God will send into Israel will be accepted, as they will be murdered.
So if one who has the spirit of prophecy is accepted by many, in these perilous times, then something is wrong, because it goes against the grain.

Sister Journey42,The true preachers of God, should know what is the importance of the church and which is the true church among so many churches nowadays in this world?
As what we have learned from the Holy Scriptures, God placed, first the apostles, governance, preachers, etc., etc., and the church is the source of the truth of God.
and without the church we could not be in the kingdom of God, here on earth.

Sister Journey42,The matter I am sharing is the same testimony of John the Baptist, Jesus Christ and the apostles, the written prophecies in the O.T. specially for them before they could be born.
Could you read back and go into the issue of written testimony (written prophecies in the O.T. specially made for them) as their divine credential or an identification duly specially made pattern by God, for His messengers.

Sister Journey42,The true preachers of God, must be having the written prophecy in the O.T. specially for them.
We could not just listen and believe to any man without the concrete proofs that he is the true preacher sent by of God.
God knows everything before hand. He knows what to do and He hath made a very unique pattern to distinguish which is the true preacher or not. He told us already in Isaiah 8:20.

I don't know how to load my own photo too, as I've often thought I would like to put my own picture up there so i don't have to hide behind the name Journey42 anymore. But I don't know if that would be a good idea?
