Do you get the credit?
It is not about you .What makes you think there are not many sons of perdition, including Judas Iscariot?
There are sons of the resurrection and sons of the light and sons of the devil[are they not sons of perdition?]

Hi Nick, I'm not looking for any pats on the back. There are “NO” mentions of any 'sons of perdition'? I thought
you were against speculations not expressly mentioned in Scripture? ….have things changed?God bless

It is you who thinks there is only one son of perdition, and one is mentioned in one of Paul's letters to the thessalonians. But perhaps it is a generic term?

Hi Nick,'The son of perdition' is mentioned twice in Scripture,
once in John 17:12 and the other is in 1Thess.2:3.God bless

Yes and why do you think they have any connection between them?
And why can they not be separate men?June 7, 2012 at 1:38 am#301307Ed JParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ June 07 2012,12:29) Hi Ed,
(1)Yes and why do you think they have any connection between them?
(2)And why can they not be separate men?
Hi Nick,1) Because of the use of the definite article.
2) Do you have any witnesses? …Ha Ha ha, this is what you do!!!
My answer to #2, your question calls for speculation.God bless

So if you say THE man of perdition that defines one person
and encompasses all use of that phrase elsewhere in scripture?June 7, 2012 at 2:21 am#301321NickHassanParticipantHi ED,
Does it work with other sons?
How about both the Son of Man Christ Jesus – and Ezekiel being also being called Son of Man?June 7, 2012 at 2:28 am#301324NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
So it is speculation to NOT assume all references are to the same person??June 7, 2012 at 2:30 am#301325Ed JParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ June 07 2012,13:19) Hi ED,

Hi Nick,Your example only strengthens my answer about the use of the definite article.
“The Son of Man” is only used in reference to Jesus. Don't take my word for it. …check it out for yourself.God bless

What?June 7, 2012 at 2:43 am#301332NickHassanParticipantHi ED,
It would be an unproveable hypothesis to say that the use of the term SON OF PERDITION in scripture relates only to one person… true?
So you will not claim it.. true?June 7, 2012 at 2:59 am#301340Ed JParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ June 07 2012,13:43) Hi ED,

Hi Nick,Why are you conveniently leaving out the definite article?
As I have pointed out to you, it is used in both cases!God bless
