Hi ,
Imagine you are travelling in a foreign country and can't speak a word of the language. You get totally lost.Should you observe the direction where most people are travelling and follow them? Not wise. Look around you. Perhaps you will find a General store go over to it and and go inside. Do you go to the shopowner and demand that the bewildered man direct you to where the town you seek is?
No, you look around and find the map section. Do you only search for the 1649 version you have heard it is the best? No you purchase the most modern and accurate and head outside.
You are still totally confused and cannot understand the map. Do you go back inside and berate the shopkeeper. Or do you listen to him and let him show you you are holding the map upside down? Perhaps you buy a compass and torch, food and suitable clothing, and tent and bedding as well.
Finally you can see where to go. Do you take the map and cut out the area you are travelling to or is it better to keep the whole map? Do you draw a straight line on the map between the two points and head directly there even if it goes through forests, swamps and a local farmer's bedroom? Or do you choose to only take paths that go northwest as that is the way you should go?
No you follow the estblished paths that will take you to your destination. If you meet old friends who live in the area will you lecture them on what you have learned or will you seek their wisdom on the area. If you met others on the path will you ignore them or share what you have learned with each other?
The point I make is that there is a way that is safe and guaranteed. There are aids to help us on the path and we need them all. When we head off into the bush on the weekends we always plan our journey and make sure we are equipped. We minimise the risks.
But many do not take the same precautions on the most important journey of life and suffer the consequences though some never realise their errors.
You are not the first on the path and there are others walking with you who can make the journey easier. Finally simplicity, commonsense and an ability to take a wider view all help you reach our home.

It is a journey and we can only reach the destination by travelling in the right direction. If we stray from the path, then we can be wandering around the wilderness for the rest of our lives.
The path to life is a narrow one. So we need to be cautious, wise and hopeful.

Also we all must walk and not spend time sitting and arguing with those who love arguing but not walking..” I am the way the truth and the life.”
” The path is narrow and few will choose it”
” If anyone walks in the day he does not stumble because he sees the light of this world”
” I have come as light into the world , that everyone who believes in me may not remain in darkness”
” Walk while you have the light, that darkness may not overtake you”
” I am the light of the world;he who follows me shall not walk in the darkness but shall have the light of life”
” Make sure the light in you is not darkness for O how deep that darkness can be”
” While you have the light believe in the light in order that you may become sons of light”June 21, 2019 at 10:11 pm#846298ProclaimerParticipantYou have changed so much Nick. IMO, not for the better. Your posts here show a better man in my view.
