Pro 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the HOLY ONE is understanding.

Proverbs, a book of 31 chapters is talking about and explaining to us God's Spirit.  Try reading 3 chapters a day for the next 10 days and see how your knowledge of the Holy Spirit grows.
The Holy Spirit has 7 spirits within Her as hinted at in Is 11:2 (See if you can find them in Proverbs)

Holy Spirit = Fruit (Better than Gold, Silver)

    1-Spirit of YHWH (discern, righteousness)
2-Fear of YHWH (hate evil (pride, arrogance), do good)(mind)
    3-Wisdom (Prudence, discretion)(Ear)(Eye)
4-Knowledge (of good and evil) (instruction, teaching)(soul)
    5-Understanding (heart)
    6-Counsel (Humble)(Mouth)
    7-Power (integrity)(Hand)

    Pro 9:1 Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven pillars;

What do you see concerning the Holy Spirit when you read these Proverbs?

Click on each word and see how it is classified (noun, feminine or masculine).  Seek wisdom, knowledge and understanding and see what God gives you.

Isn't it time for you to build your house with Her in it?

“””The Holy Spirit has 7 spirits within Her as hinted at in Is 11:2 (See if you can find them in Proverbs)”””

I'm surprised the Trinitarian haven't hit on this, would this not mean there are seven Holy Spirits (persons)?
God does not have “seven” Holy spirits, seven is the number of perfection, “seven” spirits of God only emphasize his perfect Holy Spirit.
If you were an expert in mathematics, architecture, engineering, music, etc; would that mean you have that many different minds? I don't think so.
We all have one brain, and one mind, but not all minds are the same, we are all of different understandings, and skills.

    Hey Georg,

That is funny.  I think that there may be some Trinitarians or others that want to use this to make out to be 7 Gods + YHWH, too.

Starting from Gen 1:2 the Spirit (noun, feminine) of God until:

Eph 4:30 Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

It is shown that the Holy Spirit or Spirit of God is a separate person than YHWH and has Her own purpose.

Ruach Elohim (God's Spirit; Spirit of God) is the universal spirit that is everywhere:  The 7 spirits in Isaiah are only a part of Ruach Elohim and are not “extra” spirit gods (and may likely be the 7 spirits in front of God's throne in Rev 1).  Thus, there is only ONE (Holy) Spirit (and ONE LORD–YHWH).

There is ONE God (Elohim) that consists of YHWH and Spirit.
That is why Deut 6:4 says that the LORD (YHWH) is ONE.

George, the idea is not to learn about Elohim or YHWH.  The purpose is to see how the Holy Spirit's 7 spirits functions and how we can benefit by listening and applying thru the reading of the Book of Proverbs.

    Hi David,

Do you consider Eph.2:19 to be the same house?

Eph.2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners,
    but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

    God bless

    Georg,

I like the way you put “minds” as an analogy to the 7 spirits.

I have been trying to think of an analogy of how to see “God” and this is what I came up with:

Elohim = Mercedes   YHWH = SLS AMG  Spirit = 563 HP (0-60 in 3.8 sec)

Think of “Elohim” (Mercedes) as the name of the entire “Car” (God) with TWO sections (Body- YHWH and Engine-Holy Spirit).

“YHWH” (SLS AMG) is the chassis' name consisting of “Body (God/El) with 4 wheels” (Father, King, Priest, Prophet).

“Spirit” is the engine compartment and has 7 functions: the engine (Power) Horn (Fear of YHWH) distributor cap (Spirit of YHWH) and  4 spark plugs ( Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, Counsel).

YHWH is “styling” and looks great and everyone says in awe, “My God, you are beautiful and wonderful”,  but Spirit is the “muscle” and gets YHWH to where they want to go on time.

Upon arrival everyone admires “Elohim”.  Some relish the looks of Elohim's Body, YHWH, whereas others appreciate the muscle, Holy Spirit, under the hood.

What is YHWH? A part of Car (Elohim/God).
What is Spirit? The other part of Car.
What is Car?  YHWH and Spirit.
Altogether they make up the ONE Car.

What do people see when Car is speeding away?  YHWH.
What is the invisible force behind the speed?  Spirit.

What do we call the body of “Car”?  YHWH = He.
Who is the Power of “Car”?  Spirit = She

I know it isn't a perfect analogy, just a way to see how the 3 names Elohim, YHWH (EL), and Spirit can be ONE God but have different compartments (persons) and function together as ONE God.

The Bible shows Elohim with these TWO different parts YHWH Elohim (LORD God) and Ruach Elohim (God's Spirit) but no one wants to recognize them as such.

The Wisdom is hidden in God's word for those to whom He wishes to see.

Col 2:2 that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ Himself,

Col 2:3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
