    hi

    many are misinterpreting the scriptures and so waiting for a event that has past long ago , and persist to wait for it ,

    we will look in to it as we go ,from here

    Rev 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
    Rev 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
    Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
    Rev 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
    Rev 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

    hi

    Mt 24:4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.
    Mt 24:5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
    Mt 24:6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
    Mt 24:7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
    Mt 24:8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.
    Mt 24:9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.
    Mt 24:10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other,
    Mt 24:11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.
    Mt 24:12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,
    Mt 24:13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
    Mt 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
    Mt 24:15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand—
    Mt 24:16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
    Mt 24:17 Let no one on the roof of his house go down to take anything out of the house.
    Mt 24:18 Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak.
    Mt 24:19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers!
    Mt 24:20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.
    Mt 24:21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.
    Mt 24:22 If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.
    Mt 24:23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it.
    Mt 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible.
    Mt 24:25 See, I have told you ahead of time.
    Mt 24:26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the desert,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.
    Mt 24:27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
    Mt 24:28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.
    Mt 24:29 “Immediately after the distress of those days
    “ ‘the sun will be darkened,
    and the moon will not give its light;
    the stars will fall from the sky,
    and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’
    Mt 24:30 “At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.
    Mt 24:31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
    Mt 24:32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.
    Mt 24:33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.
    Mt 24:34 I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
    Mt 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

    Mk 13:5 Jesus said to them: “Watch out that no one deceives you.
    Mk 13:6 Many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and will deceive many.
    Mk 13:7 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
    Mk 13:8 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.
    Mk 13:9 “You must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues. On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them.
    Mk 13:10 And the gospel must first be preached to all nations.
    Mk 13:11 Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
    Mk 13:12 “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death.
    Mk 13:13 All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
    Mk 13:14 “When you see ‘the abomination that causes desolation’ standing where it does not belong—let the reader understand—then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
    Mk 13:15 Let no one on the roof of his house go down or enter the house to take anything out.
    Mk 13:16 Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak.
    Mk 13:17 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers!
    Mk 13:18 Pray that this will not take place in winter,
    Mk 13:19 because those will be days of distress unequaled from the beginning, when God created the world, until now—and never to be equaled again.
    Mk 13:20 If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them.
    Mk 13:21 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ !’ or, ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it.
    Mk 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect—if that were possible.
    Mk 13:23 So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time.
    Mk 13:24 “But in those days, following that distress,
    “ ‘the sun will be darkened,
    and the moon will not give its light;
    Mk 13:25 the stars will fall from the sky,
    and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’
    Mk 13:26 “At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.
    Mk 13:27 And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.
    Mk 13:28 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.
    Mk 13:29 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that it is near, right at the door.
    Mk 13:30 I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
    Mk 13:31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
    Mk 13:32 “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
    Mk 13:33 Be on guard! Be alert ! You do not know when that time will come.

    Lk 21:5 Some of his disciples were remarking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with gifts dedicated to God. But Jesus said,
    Lk 21:6 “As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one of them will be thrown down.”
    Lk 21:7 “Teacher,” they asked, “when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?”
    Lk 21:8 He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them.
    Lk 21:9 When you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away.”
    Lk 21:10 Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
    Lk 21:11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
    Lk 21:12 “But before all this, they will lay hands on you and persecute you. They will deliver you to synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name.
    Lk 21:13 This will result in your being witnesses to them.
    Lk 21:14 But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves.
    Lk 21:15 For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.
    Lk 21:16 You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death.
    Lk 21:17 All men will hate you because of me.
    Lk 21:18 But not a hair of your head will perish.
    Lk 21:19 By standing firm you will gain life.
    Lk 21:20 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near.
    Lk 21:21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city.
    Lk 21:22 For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written.
    Lk 21:23 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.
    Lk 21:24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
    Lk 21:25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.
    Lk 21:26 Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.
    Lk 21:27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
    Lk 21:28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
    Lk 21:29 He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees.
    Lk 21:30 When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near.
    Lk 21:31 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.
    Lk 21:32 “I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
    Lk 21:33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
    Lk 21:34 “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap.
    Lk 21:35 For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth.
    Lk 21:36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

    those are the main base for the believe in the great tribulation (to come )right ?

    HI

    SOME PEOPLE HAVE MADE THEIR OWN DAY OF TRIBULATION TO BE ONE SINGLE EVENT (OUTSIDE OF THE ONE THAT CHRIST FORETOLD TO HIS APOSTLES WHAT CAME TO BE FULFILLED IN 70 AD)

    FROM THAT THEY HAVE MADE THEIR OWN MIND RICH IN SPECULATIONS ,AND ONE MORE THAN THE OTHER ,MAN ILLUSIONS,BUT IS IT TRUE TO THE SCRIPTURES ??

    THIS IS WHERE ALL LAYS WASTE ; THEIR MINDS HAVE BEEN TAKEN AWAY FROM THEM JUST AS NEBU LOST HIS MIND “BY HIS EGO ”

    THEY HAVE TAKEN THE ROAD TO PERDITION

    So Terraricca, you believe that the prophesies have been fullfilled? The ‘preterist ‘ viewpoint.

    Just look at the world around you, do you really think that things will simply continue as they are?

    Yes, there are plenty of scriptures that tell us about a time of testing to come. Plenty of proof in the OT, but I’ll stick to the NT; 2 Peter 3:7 says the world is reserved for a fire judgement, when the godless will be destroyed. Not the God-fearing people. 1 Peter 4:12 says a ‘fiery ordeal will come to test us’. Romans 1:18 tells about the Lord sending ‘divine retribution’ and Hebrews 10:27 speaks of a fire consuming God’s enemies.

    You quote Luke 21:34-36 That says a Day [of judgement] will come upon everyone, the whole world over. Also ‘escape all these things’ is a bad translation, my REB puts it correctly; ‘pass safely through what is to come’.

    When do you think the test of each persons worth, as described in 1Cor. 3:12-15 happens?

    DO NOT INSULT ME WITH THAT NAME OTHERS DID AND IT WAS IN NO WAY TRUE ,BECAUSE A BLACK GUY LIKE TO EAT BANANAS ,IF I EAT ONE BANANAS AM I NOW A BLACK PERSON ? YOU GET RIDICULOUS IN THAT STATEMENT

    I JUST FOLLOW THE SCRIPTURES ;AND I KNOW THAT WITHIN ALL THE EXISTING RELIGIONS THERE ARE TRUTHS FROM SCRIPTURES ,BUT THE REST OF THEIR TEACHINGS ARE OF MEN OPINIONS ,

    BUT I WILL ADDRESS YOUR SCRIPTURES A LITTLE LATER TIME PERMITS ,I WILL NOT FORGET THEM ,

    When do you think the test of each persons worth, as described in 1Cor. 3:12-15 happens?

    1)2Pe 3:7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction
    of ungodly men.

    2) 1Pe 4:12 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to
    you.

    3) Ro 1:18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth
    by their wickedness,

    4) Heb 10:27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.

    5) Lk 21:34 “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap.
    Lk 21:35 For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth.
    Lk 21:36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

    6) 1Co 3:12 If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw,
    1Co 3:13 his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man’s work.
    1Co 3:14 If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward.
    1Co 3:15 If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.

    THOSE ARE THE SCRIPTURES WE WILL LOOK AT IT AND SEE WHERE THEY APPLY;

    1) Peter says the reason for the fire and the destruction are the ungodly men ;
    this scripture says that it is reserve for the day of judgement ;SO LET AD MORE SCRIPTURES;;;

    2Pe 3:6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. ;;THIS IS A EXAMPLE PETER MAKES WITH THE JUDGEMENT TO COME IN PLACE ;NOTICE THAT LIKE IN THE TIME OF THE FLOOD IT WILL BE QUICK AND ONLY FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF THE UNGODLY;

    2Pe 3:8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

    THE ABOVE VERSE TALKS ABOUT A TIME IT WILL TAKE TO REACH THAT TIME OF JUDGEMENT THAT WOULD BE SWIFT ,

    2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

    THE ABOVE VERSE TALKS ABOUT GOD NOT BEING SLOW BUT WANT ALL MEN TO BE SAVED ,

    2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.

    HERE GOD WILL COME AS A THIEF ,MEANING NO ONE KNOWS WHEN HE WILL COME ;BUT ALSO UNDERSTOOD WHEN HE COMES IT WILL BE TOO LATE FOR ANYTHING

    2Pe 3:11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives

    NOW PETER COMES TO THE FINAL TEACHING OF HIS ARGUMENT ; AND BRING THE MIND OF HIS LISTENER TO THE WAY THEY SHOULD LIVE THEIR LIVES,AS A WAITING FOR GOD INTERVENTION ,
    THIS ALSO ANSWERS YOUR #4 HEB;10;27

    #5 ) CAN ALSO BE PART OF THIS FOR IT TALKS ABOUT THE WAY WE SHOULD BE DOING OUR LIVES KEEPING FOCUS ON THE THE RETURN OF GOD AND JUDGEMENT ;

    #6) FOCUSES ON THE FOUNDATION WE BELIEVE IN AND BUILD ON ;YOU CAN NOTICE THAT PAUL DOES NOT TALK ABOUT A GROUP OR CONGREGATION BUT ABOUT A SINGLE PERSON ;AND THE THINGS HE AD BUILD ,AND ASK THE QUESTION IF THEY WOULD SURVIVE HIS TRIBULATION OR TEST ?
    ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT GOD DOES NOT TEST ANYONE ,BUT WE ARE TESTED BY OUR OWN HEART FACING THE THING THAT ARE PRESENTED TO US IN OUR LIVES ,IN LUKE IT SAYS THAT THAT WILL HAPPEN TO ;ALL THOSE THAT LIVE ON THE SURFACE OF THE EARTH ,LOOK AT VERSE 14 AND 15
    HOW SOME WILL BE SAVED ,

    3) IT TALKS ABOUT THE WRATH THAT COMES FROM HEAVEN ;AGAINST ALL THE UNGODLY MEN ‘
    Jn 3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
    Jn 3:20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
    Jn 3:21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”

    MT 11:22 “Nevertheless I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you

    LK 11:31 “The Queen of the South will rise up with the men of this generation at the judgment and condemn them, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, something greater than Solomon is here

    JN 9:39 And Jesus said, “ For judgment I came into this world, so that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may become blind.”
    JN 12:31 “ Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out.
    JN 16:8 “And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment;
    JN 16:11 and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

    SO IF YOU LOOK AT ALL THOSE SCRIPTURES THERE ARE A FEW POINTS ;

    1) NO ONE KNOWS WHEN GOD WILL COME

    2) THE EARTH WILL BE LAID BARE

    3) BUT TO BE ABLE TO GO THROUGH LIFE AND BE SAVED ;WE HAVE TO BUILD OUR SELF A PERSONALITY WORTHY OF GOD MEANING BECOME HOLY THIS IS EASIER SAID THAN DONE FOR HERE OUR PERSONAL TRIBULATION START ; FAMILY/FRIENDS/CHILDREN/FELLOW WORKERS/GOVERNMENT POLICIES/FALSE RELIGION DOMINATION/ WARS/FAMINE/AND WHAT NOT …………

    DURING ALL THAT TIME AND TRIBULATION WE HAVE TO REMAIN FAITHFUL TO OUR GOD AND HIS SON ,AND STILL WORKING TO BECOME HOLY FOR THAT IS WHAT IT HIS TO BE A TRUE BELIEVER AND FOLLOW CHRIST ,THE WORLD HATED CHRIST AND WILL HATE THOSE OF HIS FAMILY ,

    I HOPE THIS ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS ?

    HI

    UNDERSTAND THAT THE WARS AND TROUBLES IN THE WORLD AND OVER THE EARTH AS BEEN ALWAYS IN PROGRESS TO THE END ,AND MANY OF THOSE TIMES WE COULD SEE SOME TO COINCIDE WITH WHAT AS BEEN WRITTEN IN THE SCRIPTURES ,

    BUT THE END WILL COME AS A THIEF MEANING NO WARNING , THE ONLY THING WE AS PERSONS THAT BELIEVE IN SCRIPTURES IS TO GROW INTO HOLINESS AS POSSIBLE WITH THE TIME WE ARE LEFT IN OUR LIVES IN THIS WORLD

    AND THIS IS WHAT THE APOSTLES WHERE PREACHING TO DO

    HI KERAS

    YOUR QUESTION IS NOT AN EASY ONE ; NOT THAT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND IT ,BUT TO ANSWERING IT FOR I DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT OTHERS DO ,AS YOU KNOW ALREADY “THE GREAT TRIBULATION “TO ME IS NOT A ONE TIME EVENT BUT OUR LIVE LONG FAITHFUL LIVING IN GOD WAY AND WILL,

    THE TEST WE WILL GO THROUGH WILL DEPEND IN WHICH RESURRECTION WE WILL HAVE PART OF ;LIKE THE FIRST RESURRECTION WILL HAVE DONE WITH TEST FOR THE TEST OF THE SECOND RESURRECTION PEOPLE WILL HAVE NO EFFECT ON THEM ,REV 20, BUT I ALSO BELIEVE THAT THE TEST WE GOING THROUGH IS NOT A TEST THAT GOD PLANTS IN FRONT OF US BUT OUR VERY OWN TEST THAT WOULD BRING FORTH OUR VERY OWN PERSONALITY FROM THE HEART ;
    Jas 1:13 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;
    Jas 1:14 but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed.
    Jas 1:15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
    Jas 1:16 Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers.
    Jas 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
    Jas 1:18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.

    Jas 1:2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds,
    Jas 1:3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.

    ISA 13:6 Wail, for the day of the LORD is near!
    It will come as destruction from the Almighty.
    ISA 13:9 Behold, the day of the LORD is coming,
    Cruel, with fury and burning anger,
    To make the land a desolation;
    And He will exterminate its sinners from it.

    Mt 13:36 Then he left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”
    Mt 13:37 He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man.
    Mt 13:38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one,
    Mt 13:39 and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.
    Mt 13:40 “As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age.
    Mt 13:41 The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil.
    Mt 13:42 They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
    Mt 13:43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

    1CO 5:5 I have decided to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

    SO THERE ARE MANY UNDERSTANDING HERE

    hi

    I also believe that all prophecy scriptures have been written first for Christ and secondly for all men ,to show the glory of God and his son ,

    most scriptures are a record of the facts that had happen ,

    Terraricca, you started a thread on the Great tribulation. But what you quote, such as Isaiah 13:6-9, we know is not part of the GT, it is paralleled by the Sixth Seal.  That is the Day of the Lord’s wrath, an event that will change the world and set the scene for the establishment of a One World govt.

    When the current state of the world is considered, it becomes obvious that some kind of dramatic event will happen quite soon. The ME situation, the economic mess we are in, sheer overpopulation, not to mention the fact that we are now ‘as in the days of Noah’.

    What is the Lord going to do about it? He will instigate His fire judgement, that’s what. Many prophesies confirm it, but those who have believed a lie, such as a ‘rapture to heaven’ or that man will eventually sort it out, are unable to understand the truth. Isaiah 29:9-12

    Isa 13:8 Terror will seize them,
    pain and anguish will grip them;
    they will writhe like a woman in labor.
    They will look aghast at each other,
    their faces aflame.

    Isa 13:9 See, the day of the LORD is coming
    —a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger—
    to make the land desolate
    and destroy the sinners within it.
    Isa 13:10 The stars of heaven and their constellations
    will not show their light.
    The rising sun will be darkened
    and the moon will not give its light.
    Isa 13:11 I will punish the world for its evil,
    the wicked for their sins.
    I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty
    and will humble the pride of the ruthless.
    Isa 13:12 I will make man scarcer than pure gold,
    more rare than the gold of Ophir.
    Isa 13:13 Therefore I will make the heavens tremble;
    and the earth will shake from its place
    at the wrath of the LORD Almighty,
    in the day of his burning anger.

    Isa 13:14 Like a hunted gazelle,
    like sheep without a shepherd,
    each will return to his own people,
    each will flee to his native land.
    Isa 13:15 Whoever is captured will be thrust through;
    all who are caught will fall by the sword.
    Isa 13:16 Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes;
    their houses will be looted and their wives ravished.

    Isa 29:1 Woe to you, Ariel, Ariel,
    the city where David settled!
    Add year to year
    and let your cycle of festivals go on.
    Isa 29:2 Yet I will besiege Ariel;
    she will mourn and lament,
    she will be to me like an altar hearth.
    Isa 29:3 I will encamp against you all around;
    I will encircle you with towers
    and set up my siege works against you.
    Isa 29:4 Brought low, you will speak from the ground;
    your speech will mumble out of the dust.
    Your voice will come ghostlike from the earth;
    out of the dust your speech will whisper.

    Isa 29:5 But your many enemies will become like fine dust,
    the ruthless hordes like blown chaff.
    Suddenly, in an instant,
    Isa 29:6 the LORD Almighty will come
    with thunder and earthquake and great noise,
    with windstorm and tempest and flames of a devouring fire.
    Isa 29:7 Then the hordes of all the nations that fight against Ariel,
    that attack her and her fortress and besiege her,
    will be as it is with a dream,
    with a vision in the night—
    Isa 29:8 as when a hungry man dreams that he is eating,
    but he awakens, and his hunger remains;
    as when a thirsty man dreams that he is drinking,
    but he awakens faint, with his thirst unquenched.
    So will it be with the hordes of all the nations
    that fight against Mount Zion.

    Isa 29:9 Be stunned and amazed,
    blind yourselves and be sightless;
    be drunk, but not from wine,
    stagger, but not from beer.
    Isa 29:10 The LORD has brought over you a deep sleep:
    He has sealed your eyes (the prophets);
    he has covered your heads (the seers).
    Isa 29:11 For you this whole vision is nothing but words sealed in a scroll. And if you give the scroll to someone who can read, and say to him, “Read this, please,” he will answer, “I can’t; it is sealed.”
    Isa 29:12 Or if you give the scroll to someone who cannot read, and say, “Read this, please,” he will answer, “I don’t know how to read.”

    compere those scriptures toward the words of Christ ;

    Exactly when did the Lord ‘come suddenly, in  an instant, with flames of devouring fire?

    You are like so many, simply in denial of anything  that will change your cosy lifestyle. Prepare for a shock!

    may be it is rubbish but that would be in the eyes of the beholder ,when did he come ? when his prophecy become to be fulfilled thats when he is there ,no ? if not who brings the word of God into fulfillment ?,

    am i like as many ? i always wander that but could never found one that is thinking and understand the scriptures as i do ,

    to be in denial, would be having no interest in God truth in his written word , it does not take 5 books to interpret a few chosen verse ,and to elaborate to the imagination of men ,

    preparing for shock ? it is you guys that will wait for ever, for the arrival of what never will come to be ,

    and i do not have a cosy lifestyle ,i just wait the end of my journey or pelerinage ,

    hi

    so many religion and men alike search scriptures for events that suppose to be yet to come ,yes there is some thing to come and that is the end of this world but it comes like a thief in the night ,

    so what are those descriptions in revelation ? are they already pasted or are they yet to come ,if you are careful you can notice that all those things have been fulfilled except for the end ,many will be deceived ,by following mere stories ,that only exist in their own mind ,but no one can change that for that also was foretold to be happen ,

    TRIBULATION DENIERS,DENYING JESUS OWN WORDS.

    Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
    (IN THE LAST DAYS).(NOT A LIFETIME).

    Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
    (ENDURE TO THE END OF THE TRIBULATION).

    Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. (END WILL COME AFTER THE TRIBULATION).

    Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
    (THIS WILL HAPPEN AT A POINT IN TIME,NOT IN A LIFETIME)(TRIBULATION TIME).

    Matthew 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
    (THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN IN ONES LIFE TIME PERIOD).(BUT AT A PIONT IN TIME).

    Matthew 24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
    (THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN IN ONES LIFETIME PERIOD).(BUT AT A PIONT IN TIME).

    Matthew 24:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
    (THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN IN ONES LIFETIME PERIOD).(THIS WILL HAPPEN AT A POINT IN TIME).

    Matthew 24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
    (THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN IN ONES LIFETIME).(BUT AT A POINT IN TIME).

    Matthew 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
    (THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN IN ONES LIFETIME).(BUT AT A POINT IN TIME).

    Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
    (JESUS WAS NOT SPEAKING OF EVERYONES LIFETIME).(BUT OF A PERIOD IN TIME).

    Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
    (THIS IS NOT SPEAKING OF ONES LIFETIME)(BUT OF A PERIOD IN TIME).
    THE TIME WILL COME SOON WHEN ALL CHRISTIANS WILL BE TAKEN INTO CAPTIVITY,
    UNLESS THEY SHOULD DENY TO BE A CHRISTIAN.

    Daniel 11:33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.(MANY DAYS;NOT A LIFETIME TRIBULATION).

    Daniel 11:34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with FLATTERIES.
    Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have TRIBULATION TEN DAYS: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
    (TRIBULATION TEN DAYS;NOT A LIFETIME).

    (NOTE; THE MARK OF THE BEAST IS ALREADY COMPULSORY).
    (THIS MEANS THE FALSE PROPHET IS ALREADY IN POWER)

    Revelation 8:8 And the second angel *SOUNDED*, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
    Revelation 8:9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

    Revelation 8:9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

    Revelation 8:10 And the third angel *SOUNDED*, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

    Revelation 8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

    Revelation 16:4 And the third angel poured out his *VIAL* upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.(WORMWOOD).

    Revelation 8:12 And the fourth angel *SOUNDED*, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

    Revelation 16:8 And the fourth angel poured out his *VIAL* upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
    (IT WAS DARK,BUT HOT;ITS A GREENHOUSE EFFECT).

    Revelation 8:13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other *VOICES* of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to SOUND!

    Revelation 9:1 And the fifth angel *SOUND*, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

    Revelation 9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

    Revelation 9:3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

    Revelation 9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

    Revelation 9:17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
    (WAR HARDWARE).

    Revelation 9:18 **By these three was the third part of men killed**,
    by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

    Revelation 9:19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

    Revelation 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

    Revelation 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

    Revelation 16:20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

    Revelation 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.( THIS IS ARMAGEDDON).

    Jeremiah 51:26 And they shall not take of thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith the LORD.

    Jeremiah 51:27 Set ye up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the NATIONS, prepare the NATIONS against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz; appoint a captain against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillers.
