Hi,
The word of God sown on the hardened path is snatched away by Satan before it can take root.December 8, 2008 at 1:47 am#113371NickHassanParticipantHi,
The gospel of God continues to be preached.
Some soil cannot receive itDecember 8, 2008 at 5:29 am#113399chosenoneParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Nov. 18 2008,08:25) 1Hi,
There is only one gospel, that of God and His son and the servants of God..
Romans 1:9
For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.Romans 15:16
That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.1 Thessalonians 2:2
But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
NH.
Correct translation for Ro.1:16 …16 For not ashamed am I of the evangel, for it is God's power for salvation to everyone who is believing — to the Jew first, and to the Greek as well.
The others, as this one, say nothing that Jesus'teaching was for the gentiles. There is “NO SCRIPTURE”, saying there is “One eternal gospel for all”. When are you going to stop preaching this false, heretical, no-biblical gospel?

Again no answer?December 15, 2008 at 3:57 am#114186chosenoneParticipantDon't be swayed by the false gospel of “one eternal gospel for all”. It is a non-biblical heresy, taught by false teachers.
Blessings.
December 25, 2008 at 2:04 am#115600chosenoneParticipantQuote (chosenone @ Nov. 18 2008,07:05) Jesus taught while under the “Law”, The gospel of the Kingdom. Paul teaches the “Gospel of Grace”. Different era, diffrent gospel. No biblical scripture saying “the eternal gospel for all”, refuse false teaching.
Hi Gene.
Notice if you ask for scripture that says “the one eternal gospel for all”, you will never get a reply? One who pretends to understand scripture, is strangely quiet when he can't supply it for his so-called “truth”.Blessings.

The first chapter of Galatians is refering to 'other gospels”, one such being “the one eternal gospel for all”. A non-biblical, heretical teaching, of nonsense!January 3, 2009 at 1:17 am#116435GeneBalthropParticipantChosenone………Paul said also God would judge the hearts of men according to (HIS) GOSPEL. So he must have had His own personal teaching given him from God to teach. He does seem to teach more on the deference between the Physical Laws and Spiritual fulfillment. Jesus told the Jew to Keep the Law and the commandments and even quoted them at times, He also told then they should also tithe in things they had, And during the time of His ministry The Church had not started as yet, it started on Pentecost after His assent. But with that said i do see a lot of Spiritual significance in what Jesus was saying. But Jesus did say He was sent to no body except the house of Israel as you have brought out.

Hi Gene and CO:What did Jesus mean by the following scripture, when he “says he has other sheep…them he must bring also”.
Quote Jhn 10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my [sheep], and am known of mine. Jhn 10:15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
Jhn 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, [and] one shepherd.
January 3, 2009 at 2:32 am#116446GeneBalthropParticipant942767….sure Jesus knows his sheep and His sheep know him also. Both have the awareness given them from GOD of each other. Now with that said go read scripture the scripture about Jesus asking Peter who he was, and think about what he is really saying, and you will have the answer of what Jesus meant.

Hi Gene:I know what he meant. I was asking you or CO to explain what he meant. Especially, the fact that he has other sheep that are not of “this fold” them he says, that he must bring also.
January 3, 2009 at 4:27 am#116458NickHassanParticipantGB,
So you do believe we should have a relationship with the Shepherd as well as his God?January 3, 2009 at 6:27 pm#116494GeneBalthropParticipantNick……..When did i say we weren't to have a relationship with Jesus as well as with The FATHER? I have no idea where you even come up with these thing. Unless you are trying so hard to discredit me that you are blinded to What i am saying. So You come out with these stupid statements like that.

We will take that as a yes?January 3, 2009 at 6:59 pm#116501GeneBalthropParticipantNick……..i could care less what you or the (WE) THINK, of me or about me. I have a judge that judges me and it sure isn't a false accuser in a little speck of a place some where like you.

January 3, 2009 at 7:30 pm#116504NickHassanParticipantSo GB,
We can approach the throne of grace in prayer because of what Jesus has done but as far as our works go they are appointed to us by Jesus, the head of the body, and his words are our guide.January 3, 2009 at 7:45 pm#116510GeneBalthropParticipantNick……….calm down your making less scene the more you talk. O and by the way the words (WERE NOT HIS WORDS), but the FATHERS , lets not rob Peter and Pay Paul here. Jesus only spoke what the FATHER GAVE HIM. YOU are Again push the FATHER out of the picture. Seems to be your mo.

The other sheep which are not of this fold; this fold is referring to the Israelites, the other sheep are the Gentiles. Jesus is the shepherd of both flocks; they were brought in when the 70 weeks were up; remember Peter and Cornelius?
Georg
PS. There is only one gospel preached, it's just that Jesus had to preach it to the Jews first, Dan. 9:24, 70 weeks.
January 4, 2009 at 2:07 am#116542NickHassanParticipantHi Georg,
The sheepflock are those who follow Jesus and his teachings.
John 10:4
And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. The gate of Jesus remains open for men till this day.
The other sheep are found by the mercy of God in the final judgement along with the goats
