No, we don't need to rewrite the scriptures, we can respect them for what they meant to the faith of a people of another age, in fact they did serve a purpose while not being scientifically or historically accurate. The God concept evolves within the current Bible book list, so I would say leave them as they are, a kind of historic record of the evolution of religious thought.

The Urantia Book stands own it's own, it does not need to be connected to the Bible nor depend upon it for it's revelatory content.
