God is amazing.. AWESOME in fact! He has shown us the times in Scripture. This is what He has shown me regarding the feasts.
There are three feasts that were commanded be kept. They are:
Passover
Pentecost
Tabernacles. Why did these feasts need to be kept? Because they are relevant and significant right to the end of time. Let me explain.
The Feast of Passover remembers the flight from Egypt and represents the Born Again experience, and also is prophetic of the Evangelical church.
The Feast of Pentecost is representative of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. It represents the receiving of the Holy Spirit and is also prophetic of the Pentecostal church.
The Feast of Tabernacles remembers the 40 years spent in tents in the Wilderness. It is a dividing point between the Wilderness and the Promised Land. To get to the Promised Land one must cross the Jordan, which is a death experience, not physical death as we know it, but death of the soul, or the identity if you like. This is explained more fully on my page http://www.all4god.net/beyond_pentecost.htm
Have a look at the PowerPoint presentation to see my testimony of this event and also an amazing insight into the 23rd Psalm, which speaks of this feast.
I look forward to your comments.
Blessings

I have presented this teaching to various churches as the Lord has led me over the years, but none have the courage to embrace the new. The Lord asked me the other day “Can you pour new wine into old wine skins?” The answer of course, is no. So I asked Him, “What makes a wine skin old?” He answered “Tradition”
I am at this stage preparing to deliver a conference independantly of the local churches, to deliver this message, as I believe the Lord is leading me to do. I will be approaching the local churches to ask for their support and blessing, but it will go ahead regardless unless the Lord tells me otherwise.
This is an important time and an important message. Prayerful support would be appreciated.

December 30, 2006 at 3:10 am#40913942767ParticipantHi Oxy:
I'll just share the following scripture with you, Zechariah 14:16-19 which states:
“And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles”.
The word Jerusalem means “teaching of peace”, and as Christians our mortal bodies are the temporary tabernacles of our God, since we will receive a spiritual body at our Lord's coming for the church, and so we go to that city that is teaching peace specifically peace with God through His Son and His Christ our Lord Jesus to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.
God Bless

Hi, according to my understanding Jerusalem means foundation of peace.I'm not sure what you're trying to tell me by quoting that Scripture. I just know what the Lord has shown me so many ways over so many years.
Blessings.

Hi WJ:The King, the Lord of hosts is Almighty God.
Jesus speaking to the Samaritan woman says, “Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain or in Jerusalem, You Samaritans worsip what you do not know, we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. YET THE TIME IS COMING AND HAS NOW COME WHEN THE TRUE WORSHIPERS WILL WORSHIP THE FATHER IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH, FOR THEY ARE THE KIND OF WORSHIPERS THE FATHER SEEKS. GOD IS SPIRIT, AND HIS WORSHIPERS MUST WORSHIP IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH”. (John 4:21-24)

December 31, 2006 at 9:13 pm#40918kenrchParticipantHi Oxy,
What this prophecy mean?
Zec 14:5 And ye shall flee by the valley of my mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azel; yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah; and Jehovah my God shall come, and all the holy ones with thee.
Zec 14:6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that there shall not be light; the bright ones shall withdraw themselves:
Zec 14:7 but it shall be one day which is known unto Jehovah; not day, and not night; but it shall come to pass, that at evening time there shall be light.
Zec 14:8 And it shall come to pass in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the eastern sea, and half of them toward the western sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
Zec 14:9 And Jehovah shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall Jehovah be one, and his name one.
Zec 14:10 All the land shall be made like the Arabah, from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; and she shall be lifted up, and shall dwell in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananel unto the king's wine-presses.
Zec 14:11 And men shall dwell therein, and there shall be no more curse; but Jerusalem shall dwell safely.
Zec 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith Jehovah will smite all the peoples that have warred against Jerusalem: their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their sockets, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
Zec 14:13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from Jehovah shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbor, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor.
Zec 14:14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the nations round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
Zec 14:15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in those camps, as that plague.
Zec 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, Jehovah of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Zec 14:17 And it shall be, that whoso of all the families of the earth goeth not up unto Jerusalem to worship the King, Jehovah of hosts, upon them there shall be no rain.
Zec 14:18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, neither shall it be upon them; there shall be the plague wherewith Jehovah will smite the nations that go not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.Does this mean that we must keep the feast of tabernacles TODAY since according to scripture we will have to keep it in the new kingdom?
January 1, 2007 at 3:59 am#40919OxyParticipantHi Kenrch. good to see you again my friend.
The way the Lord has shown me the feasts is this:
Because we are born again, we are in fact keeping the Feast of Passover by our very lives.
Because we have been baptised in the Holy Spirit (as many of us who have), we are already keeping the Feast of Pentecost.
As we embrace the Feast of Tabernacles and allow ourselves to face the first death and the glorious resurrecetion, we will in fact be keeping the third feast.
What was once shown by an occasion (feast) is now manifested in our very lives.
I hope this answers your question my friend.
