Kerwin. The roots are of Babylon. And the king is called king of babylon.(bab.the great).
Of which all false religion is based on.wakeup.
Wakeup,I know of no evidence the Old English Ēostre goddess is the Babylonian goddess Ishtar. They certainly may have descended from the same identity as story tellers to liberties with stories featuring her. Ēostre is the identity that has descended from the Proto-Indo-European goddess *Ausṓs. The Indo-Europeans were in both Europe and Asia so there could be a connection.
Your source is a liar but they happened to make a claim that has remnants of truth.
Ēostre is also a month and that month coincides with Passover.
Easter is an English word that descended out of Germanic roots.
A number of languages still call Easter Passover and translators understood that Koine Greek and Latin did so. The Koine Greek Passover was translated to the Latin Passover, and then English speakers celebrated the holiday of that name taught by the Roman Catholics as Easter.
In other words Easter is a synonym for Passover except that Easter is in addition a celebration of Jesus death and resurrection.
