The Acceptable year of the Lord

Luke 4:18   The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at Liberty them that are bruised,

Luke 4:19   To PREACH the ACCEPTABLE YEAR OF THE LORD.
Luke 4:20   And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down.  And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
Luke 4:21   And he began to say unto them, This day is this Scripture fulfilled in your ears.

If we go back to the OT, we see that these words of Christ were prophesied by Isaiah.

Isaiah 61:1   The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath annointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.
Isaiah 61:2   To proclaim the ACCEPTABLE YEAR OF THE LORD, and THE DAY OF VENGEANCE OF OUR GOD; to comfort all that mourn;
Isaiah 61:3   To appoint unto them that mourn in ZION, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

So that particular day, the scripture was fulfilled that Christ would PREACH or PROCLAIM the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of Vengeance of our God (the 2nd coming)
In order to find out what this acceptable year of the Lord that Christ is PREACHING, we have to go further in Isaiah.

Isaiah 61:4   And THEY shall BUILD, the OLD WASTES, THEY shall raise up FORMER DESOLATIONS, and THEY shall REPAIR the WASTE CITIES, the desolations of MANY GENERATIONS.

Who are THEY?  We know the Jews rejected Christ, and Jerusalem destroyed in 70AD.  Do you remember this scripture, another prophesy?

Isaiah 28:18   And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

Israel make an agreement with death when they shake hands with the false prophet.  But God is telling us that this agreement shall not stand, yet they will still be trodden down, when the overflowing scourge (armies) pass through.  So this has to happen according to scripture…Israel invaded/occupied first, then forgiveness.

Rev 11:2   but the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the HOLY CITY shall they TREAD UNDERFOOT forty and two months.

So Jerusalem will be trodden down for 3 1/2 years.
How do we know the agreement with death will be with the false prophet?

Daniel 11:45   And he shall PLANT the TABERNACLE of HIS PALACE between the seas in THE GLORIOUS HOLY MOUNTAIN, yet he shall come to his end, and non shall help him.

Not only the false prophet & his armies will occupy, but others will enter into the holy land as well to attack.

Rev 9:16   And the number of the army of the horseman were two hundred thousand thousand:  and I heard the number of them.
Rev 16:12   And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates, and the water thereof was drive up, that the way of the KINGS OF THE EAST might be PREPARED.
Rev 16:16   And he GATHERED them TOGETHER, into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

So this war is not against Israel, as Israel has lost her power already, and are captives.  This war is against the false prophets army and his enemies from the EAST, and if you go into OT, you will find out that the kings of the North, and South are not happy either (Jer 1:15)  So this war here at Armageddon, in Israel, involves many nations, and they are all fighting for control of Israel.

Rev 16:14   For they are the spirits of evils, working miracles, which go forth unto the KINGS OF THE EARTH, and of THE WHOLE WORLD, to GATHER THEM to the BATTLE of that great day of God Almighty.

The armies are all there in Israel.  In that one place.

So lets continue in Isaiah, to find out who THEM are that rebuild the waste places.
Isaiah 61:5   And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.

Sounds like these people (THEM) will have servants working for them, labouring on the land.

Isaiah 61:6   But ye shall be named the PRIESTS OF THE LORD: men shall call you the MINISTERS of OUR GOD:  ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.

Many think this is referring to the saints.  But you missed these scriptures along the way, or could not understand them.

Isaiah 65:18   But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create JERUSALEM a rejoicing, and HER PEOPLE a joy.
Isaiah 65:19   And I will REJOICE IN JERUSALEM, and joy in MY PEOPLE: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
Isaiah 65:20   There shall be no more thence an infance of days, nor an old man that hath not fill his days: for the CHILD shall DIE AN HUNDRED YEARS OLD; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
Isaiah 65:21   And THEY shall BUILD HOUSES, and inhabit them; and THEY shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
Isaiah 65:22   They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and MINE ELECT shall long enjoy the WORK OF THEIR HANDS.
Isaiah 65:23   They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their OFFSPRING WITH THEM
Isaiah 65:24   And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
Isaiah 65:25   The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock; and dust shall be the serpents meat.  They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.

These people are FLESH.  They are building, planting, rejoicing, labouring, having offspring, their babies living long lives, animals living in peace, snakes eating dust, this place is protected by the Lord, nothing hurts nor destroys in this place,
God calls them “Mine Elect”.  So the ones there have been elected, chosen.
 Romans 11:7   What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the ELECTION hath OBTAINED, and the rest were blinded.

We ought not to think that the gentiles w
ho follow Christ are the only ones that God will have mercy on.  For God has chosen certain Israelites, who did not know Christ,(died before he came) to participate in this amazing turn around of things.  This is to come.  This is the ACCEPTABLE DAY OF THE LORD, when all who are chosen…..When the Saints, and Israelites, will be accepted into the kingdom that will reign for a thousand years here on earth, in Israel.  Headquarters Jerusalem, where the Holy temple will be situated.  This will happen at Christ's return.

Isaiah 66:8   Who hath heard such a thing?
Who hath seen such things?  Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once?  for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

It is good for us to know these things before hand, because when this is fulfilled, we will rejoice even more that God shared this with us, and all that we knew before the time, we will see with our very own eyes.
If we say to ourselves, we'll just have to wait and see if it comes true, when I see it with my own eyes, then I will believe them….. then we have not trusted these prophets who brings God's word to us, therefore we have not trusted nor really known God's word or his plan that he likes to share with us.

Whoever receives a prophet, will receive a prophets reward. More will be added unto you.

Jeremiah 31:6   For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the Lord our God.
Jeremiah 31:7   For thus saith the Lord; Sing with gladness for JACOB, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O Lord, save thy people, THE REMNANT OF ISRAEL
Jeremiah 31:8   Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: A GREAT COMPANY SHALL RETURN THITHER.
Jeremiah 31:9   THEY shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause THEM to walk by the rivers of waters IN A STRAIGHT WAY, wherein they SHALL NOT STUMBLE: for I AM A FATHER TO ISRAEL and EPHRAIM IS MY FIRSTBORN

Jer 31:10   Hear the word of the Lord, O ye nations, and declare it int he isles afar off, and say, HE THAT SCATTERED ISRAEL WILL GATHER HIM, AND KEEP HIM, as a shepherd doeth his flock.
Jer 31:11   For the Lord hath REDEEMED JACOB, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.
Jer 31:12   Therefore they shall come and sing in THE HEIGHT OF ZION, and shall flow together to the goodness of the Lord, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden, and they SHALL NOT SORROW ANYMORE

Jer 31:13   Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
Jer 31:14   And I will SATIATE THE SOUL OF THE PRIESTS with FATNESS, and MY PEOPLE shall be satisfied with my goodness saith the Lord.

Jer 31:15   Thus saith the Lord; a voice was heard in RAMAH, lamentation, and bitter weeping, Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not

Rahel's children were killed by Herod when he ordered all boys aged 2 and under to be killed.
But what does God about her loss?

Jer 31:16   Thus saith the Lord, Refrain thy voice from weekping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the Lord; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.

(The land of the enemy is DEATH…..the last enemy destroyed is death)

JER 31:17   And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that SIZE=6]THY CHILDREN[/SIZE] shall COME AGAIN to THEIR OWN BORDER

Rahels children will be part of the “elect”, resurrected into flesh and brought back again to their border (Israel, near Jerusalem, Ramah) during the 1000 year reign.  The kingdom of Christ will be set up here on earth, in Israel.
Rahel died under the old covenant.  Only those who were born after Christ's crucifixion can take part in the first resurrection.  The rest who are elected (Israelites only) get raised to flesh, to learn and experience the New Covenant.  They will reside in the kingdom (Holy Camp) (Camp of the Saints) (Holy Mountain) Called many things, but the same place, the KINGDOM ON EARTH, IN ISRAEL….to come.  Jeru-salem – City of Peace.

Jer 31:33  But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel. AFTER THOSE DAYS, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts, and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Jer 31:34   And they shall teach no more every man his neightbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Jer 31:38   Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the shall be built to the Lord, from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the the corner.
Jer 31:39   And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.
Jer 31:40   And the whole VALLEY of the DEAD BODIES and of the ASHES,, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be HOLY until the Lord; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more forever.

This valley mentioned above, is the same valley in Ezekiel 37. (Valley full off of bones)  The Israelites (chosen) will be raised out of this valley.  God is showing us that (after Christ returns) no Israelite will be thrown in there ever again.  For he will loose not even one. This valley (spiritual valley) contained all the remnant that were reserved.  And they make up the whole house of Israel brought back from the dead, to be placed in the kingdom.
