Quote (terraricca @ Aug. 04 2013,12:02) 2bee again you are quoting many scriptures that I am well familiar with and so are the others ,but what I am looking for is your understanding of what the word SPIRIT means and does it mean in all circumstances the same things
Hi Pierre,Now you know what I'm talking about, you do this practice as well;
posting various Scriptures from corrupted bibles and neglect
to tell us what you are expecting us to get out of them.God bless

As we are talking about God's own spirit here. God's own Spirit is the very spirit within him, which searches out the deep things of God.And 'No', the word “spirit” does not mean the same thing in all circumstances, because we are speaking about The Holy Spirit.

“Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us,

subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?” (Heb 12:9)Which of these spirits is “the spirit of Christ”?
1. The Father of Spirits

Hi Pierre,πνευματω (pneuma): spirit, ghost
From pneo; a current of air, i.e. Breath (blast) or a breeze; by analogy or figuratively,
a spirit, i.e. (human) the rational soul, (by implication) vital principle, mental disposition, etc.,
or (superhuman) an angel, demon, or (divine) God, Christ's spirit, the Holy Spirit — ghost, life, spirit(-ual, -ually), mind. Compare psuche.We see from the definition of the Greek word translated as “spirit” – God's, Christ's, and our's.
We know that the “HolySpirit” of God is father to our spirit (points 1-2); but the question is:
where does “the spirit of Christ” fit in these two classifications spelled out in Heb 12:9.I say #2, because we can see that the “HolySpirit” is the father of Jesus Christ in Matt.1:18, 1:20, & Luke 1:35.
