    Hello brothers and sisters,
I have chatted with a few of you that sound very weary. I want to encourage you all.

Emotions do run high. It takes a lot of energy to give an answer for your faith several times a day. It takes even more energy to deal with brothers and sisters – all with various faiths and opinions. But please know that your time here is worthwhile and has been a blessing to many.

I've noticed the boards are kinda eerie quiet over the last couple of days…. I've noticed because I check in several times a day. I've learned to really love it here. I've learned to love many of you. Truth be told…..I miss you guys!

I'll confess, I came here because I was lonely for some brothers and sisters who deeply love the Lord. I was so excited to have found you all. I'm still really happy to be here.

I just wanted to say thank you to t8, Nick, WJ, Isaiah, Kenrch, Charity, David, Tim2, Tim4, Olive, CB and others…I have appreciated your time on these boards, and the conversations we have had. If you are among those taking a break for a while – I pray that our heavenly Father will encourage your hearts and stir your mind with new-found wisdom and understanding…..and peace.

A big hug to you all!

    Thanks Mandy.

I find for myself that I need to take regular breaks and come back refreshed. That way I feel I can give my best and not let my emotions rule too much. That said I love it here too, but it can eat up a lot of time and life itself demands our time.

There are not many places that I know of at least that really questions all things regarding the faith and scripture, so for that reason I think it is a valuable experience to have all you do pass through the fire, so to speak.

Even those who challenge the challengers is a good thing. That way there is accountability which is important.

It is a bit of a shame however when people are just hell bent on finding fault in you. You can tell these people because they will attack your character for small and irrelevant things. In this, their true motives are clearly seen. When they find it difficult to fault what you say, they try and fault your character in their desperation because they are fault finders and accusers. But hey, it has always been like this. The same things were around when Christ walked the earth.

There is nothing new under the sun in that respect.

    :)
