Hey ya'll. We discuss on here alot of differant views and perspectives, and sometimes it gets ugly, but God loves us anyway and knows how stubborn we can be. Anyway I would like someone to find something in the bible for me. This is a huge witness to me and I know its there I just can't put my finger in it now but here it is—  I wanted to know the percentages of the differant religions, and I searched and found a pie graph, and it showed where 33% of the world is christian. In the bible somewhere I read where God said that “two thirds will perish, and one third will be saved. and I will bring them through fire, and test them as gold is tested” Where was that?  And that is a huge witness to me, that thousands of years ago it was said exactly where the numbers would be. Also it tells me that alot of the churches are wrong as I expected, and it's not “this church” or “that church” that is going to make it, rather “Gods church”, which in what I believe is his sprit living inside all christians. I believe that there are differant churches because there is no excuse for not going or assembling with others. If you take literally the scripture about being bittin by snakes and want to dance with one theres a church for you. You like to jump around like your pants are on fire theres one for you. You like church to be set up like a concert with a band and stage ……, you want one to be very stoic so that the only way to get some emotion is to walk up to someone and kick them, come to my church. You self concious and shy get any other person and pray alone. I'm just sayin. Love ya'll- Mark

Zec 13:8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

Zec 13:9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

Yes they were, Thanks. With the percentages right, hopefully it won't be long. I wonder if the second woe on revalation where a third of mankind was killed by three plagues, coming out of the horses mouths, could be islam poisoning the world with what the devil told mohammed?(the devil comes disgised as an angel of light) and he being the false prophet? The star in the fifth trumpet that falls to the earth and opens the shaft of the abyss to me would be Elvis, definately a fallen star. A star because he was a believer that through drugs and fame and money thought he had supernatural abilities (his friends said so) the locust that poured out onto the land from the smoke that had hair like womens hair but mens faces would be all those evil glorifying “stars” of the rock band era of the 70's (remember pictures of Gene Simmons standing there with blood dripping out of his mouth breathing fire?) Rev9 v11 “Acting as their king (Elvis is known as 'the King' ) was the angel in charge of the abyss (Satan has handed over all authority to rock and roll and being devoted to what's bad instead of God) , whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon (destruction or ruin) and in Greek Apollyon (destroyer) . Thats why I think the gold idol of elvis on my signature is the horrible abomination. Matthew 24 v13 “When you see the abominable (gold idols are an abomination to God especially when almost the whole world referrs to them as 'The King') and desturctive thing (Abaddon) which the prophet Daniel foretold standing on holy ground (let the reader take note!)those in Judea must flee to the mountians”   Iran is producing plutionum as we type and is dying to “wipe them off the face of the earth”. Maybe the percentages are going to be a third christian, a third muslim, and a third whatever. Maybe somehow tied into Rev 8 12 “a third of the sun, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars were hit hard enough to be plunged into darkness”  Hmmmmm. Peace and Love- Mark

Also the three horns riped out of the way to make room for him would be Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, and Brian Jones(founder of the rolling stones), all dying mysteriously, all at the age of 27(999), almost at the same time at the start of the 70's. Peace

Once again pierre, you are putting your own beliefs against what is stated in scripture, blind scribe. God has rightious musicians. I can't wait to hear them, perhaps be one of them. Rev 15 v2 “On the sea of glass were standing those who had won the victory over the beast and its image, and also the number that signified its name. They were holding the harps used in worshiping God, and they sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the lamb”  Psalm 150 is a final doxology with full orchestra- Praise the Lord in his ssnctuary, praise him in the firmament of his strength. Praise him for his mighty deeds, praise him for his magisty. PRAISE HIM WITH THE BLAST OF THE TRUMPET,PRAISE HIM WITH LYRE AND HARP, pRAISE HIM WITH TIMBREL AND DANCE, PRAISE HIM WITH STRINGS AND PIPE. PRAISE HIM WITH SOUNDING CYMBALS,PRAISE HIM WITH CLANGING CYMBALS”  (I just respond to you in big letters because thats how you write and I want to communicate in ways you understand)  You problibly don't associate musical praise because you are too good to go to church and haven't sung with your brothers in 38 years, but yes my friend, God loves to be sung to and music that praises him. Godbless

Anyway, the statement wasn't about God's music, it was about evil musicians. Brother do you have dementia or alshimers? I am being serious. You seem to miss points that are black and white obvious. I will honestly pray for you today. “Lord please help Pierre, and if that is not your will please give me the patience to deal with him. May we both grow in your love. Amen”

The three “horns” you mentioned, from Dan. 7:8, are the three barbarian kings that conquered, and ruled Roman territory, for a while.

The Vandals captured Carthage, North Africa, in 439 AD.
The Heruli captured Rome, Italy, in 476 AD.
The Ostrogoth took it away from the Heruli in 493 AD.

The emperor Justinian defeated the Vandals in 533 AD, and the Ostrogoth in 553 AD.

But history repeats itself. Also the scripture said the three shepards would be removed in one month for acting badly towards God. It doesn't get much worse than what these guys promoted. Whats one month of time in prophecy usually? Peace

    this is what i beive Dan 7;8-11 means and is;

Da 8:8 The goat became very great, but at the height of his power his large horn was broken off, and in its place four prominent horns grew up toward the four winds of heaven.
Da 8:9 Out of one of them came another horn, which started small but grew in power to the south and to the east and toward the Beautiful Land.
Da 8:10 It grew until it reached the host of the heavens, and it threw some of the starry host down to the earth and trampled on them.
Da 8:11 It set itself up to be as great as the Prince of the host; it took away the daily sacrifice from him, and the place of his sanctuary was brought low.

the Goat =Alexander the great (Greece)powerful but died at 32 years old ; but at the height of his power his large horn was broken off,

then four horn grew ;those are the division of his kingdom by is own four Generals(see History well documented)

out of them came to grow a smaller horn but it grew stonger……. this is ROME (also well documented)

    this fit also Dan 2;40…..

it took away the daily sacrifice from him, and the place of his sanctuary was brought low…

this is wen ROME destroyed Jerusalem temple.

What you said about the goat, and Alexander is true, but has nothing to do with the three horns that were plugged up, from Dan. 7:8.
Why did you bring THAT up?

Besides, this is what you started out with, “””this is what i beive Dan 7;8-11 means and is;””” and then you come on with Dan. 8:8-11; what gives?

    Pierre

    How Greece “became” Rome?
Macedonia was the first of the “four” that became a province “OF” Rome, in 149 BC.
The “little” horn (horn stands for ruler) was Rome in the making; little means, it had a small beginning, but it grew into the greatest empire ever.
You really need to check up on your history, not to mention the Bible.
