Is that only reference to God as a person out of hundreds speaking of men?
You need more witnesses[2cor 13.1]None speak of the SPIRIT as a person
Hi Nick:How then is Jesus “the express image of His person”, and how does Jesus state “he who has seen me has seen the Father”?

God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself.
Those with spiritual eyes could see the Father.
Those with spiritual ears could hear Him.The breath of God gave the dirt a soul and a spirit-like God and His son

The scriptures state that God is invisible.Quote 1Ti 1:17
Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. And about Jesus the scriptures state:
Quote Col 1:15
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:Quote Jhn 14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Jhn 14:8
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.Jhn 14:9
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?Jhn 14:10
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.Jhn 14:11
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.Love in Christ,

Who has a biased view? The scriptures are posted above in my answer Nick for you to read. If you can't understand them, them I will try to explain them to you, but once I have done that I have done all that I can do except pray that God would reveal the truth to you.Love in Christ,

So it is the invisible aspects of God that Jesus is the image of-soul and spirit.
The body of Jesus is excluded.June 12, 2014 at 3:30 pm#388641terrariccaParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ June 12 2014,00:36) Hi 94,

Nyou inventing and twisting the words of God like it was a worm ,
Quote So it is the invisible aspects of God that Jesus is the image of-soul and spirit.
The body of Jesus is excluded.you cannot bring forth all the scriptures that would back this up ,
because there are 3 times more scriptures that would deny your view ,

Are you speaking of the man conceived in Mary?
God is not a man.June 14, 2014 at 10:44 pm#388948942767ParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ June 12 2014,05:36) Hi 94,

Yes, it is excluded, does God have a body? He does have a body now, “we, the children of God, are the temple of the Holy Ghost”, but the scripture states that the first Adam was made a living soul, and the first Adam was in the image of God in that God is a living soul, that is He has a mind, a will, and emotions. The last Adam is a “work in progress”, and Jesus is the example of the completed “last Adam”.
Quote 1Co 15:45
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Please read John 14 and see if it is not the “works that he was doing” to which he makes a statement “he who has seen me has seen the Father”. The life that a person lives defines who that person really is.

nickJesus is created the only begotten son of God long before Mary was created ;Jesus his God first creation and all things were created through him ,as scriptures says ,
the transformation of the the son of God into the womb of a women is the miracle that the power of God made to be ,
the holy spirit or the spirit of truth stands their for it is the fulfillment of the words spoken by his prophets of long ago ;Is 9,Gen 3;15 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
