To know a little bit about me,
when I was 15 years old I was living under a shaken belief of the existence of God, fighting with the teenage life and with the personal circumstances surrounding me. Looking at the Christian values has a culture, a perspective, a hobby nothing to do with any personal change. But as I was searching for my purpose in life, searching for a reason why I exist, what am I meant to do, God answered me in such a way during that summer that since that day my life hasn’t been the same.
I remember how that one night during that summer, how I asked God if he was real, than if there is God, than why was I born for ? what was my purpose?, what am i meant to do with my life? what am i doing here?
And God answered me in a dream that night, a dream about our need, our desires for him, our crys for help in the heat of the wilderness, and how God brings springs of water in the midst of the wilderness, a fountain in the middle of the desert. I woke up the next mourning, confused, thirsty. I went to church where the Pastor spoke of the Water of Life. to never thirst again. At that moment I understood that God was answering me. And thats where my relationship started with the love of my life.
The impact of Gods love has changed my life. I have been tested, hurt, beaten down, made a lot of mistakes, regrets, but yet even though so many negative things happened, I have seen how God has never forgotten me, and always putting me back on track and made things even Better each time. Nothing can separate us from the love of God, because for those who love him, every thing is going to be used for Good, because as we grow in Christ we die to who we were before. Even though I still have to Change and grow stronger in so many ways, and overcome obstacles in my life still, I know that Gods is always with me, and with him everything is possible. The Water of eternal life is free, salvation is free, because when I was younger I wasn’t even looking for God, I wasn’t searching for Gods face, when i doubted in his existance. And now I know my purpose to serve the name above all names who Died so that we may live, Jesus Christ. I’m not perfect but we are simply forgiven by whom is…

    Now you can understand me.
    We can understand eachother,
For me, that was the purpose of the member profiles.

    Hi Lightenup,

Right now im starting on my Masters in Theology. and still working on my psychology major as well. Im hoping to start in institute soon, and also many projects that i have in mind.
Type of church? well i usualy intend a non-denomenational church but im constantly visiting friends and brother and sisters in the faith, at their churchs as well. usually im visiting alot. The only church I havent realy focused on was lakewood in Houston. which is a like a mega church. i visited once but never really got close to anyone there.

Part of my family is Honduran, and the other part Columbian. most of my honduran side of the family lives in Honduras. There is a huge christian movement moving there, for example: a few years ago they got a helicopter and threw a bunch of anoiting oil from the helicopter, into the city, praying and fasting, and reports came back of many being healed and saved. from what i heard.
Im hoping to go back to my country to help in every way even politicaly (which is something i should be careful about because anythign poltical is corrupted.)

    Much love,

If you are studying Theology will they not teach you that the trinity is right? Most I believe do. My advice to you is to prove all things….Mainstream Christianity will believe this…so good luck to you and your Family if you go back to
Honduras. We have two Dr. of Physiologist in our Family, that takes a lot of time in School…..Peace and Love Irene

    SF,
Thanks for the info. My son just got his bachelor degree in Psychology and wants to get his Master's degree in school counseling. What kind of institute do you want to start? You sound very ambitious…it is good that you have all sorts of things that you have in mind to do. Do what God wants and you will do well.

    Bless you!

    Irene,
Actually what theology means is the study of God.

“the field of study and analysis that treats of god and of God's attributes and relations to the universe; study of divine jthings or religious truth; divinity.”

The school I went to focused more on our relationship with God than anything else. There was no biased on denomanations and so on. Therefore i have taken classes along side pastors from diffrent denomenations with some differnt view in many aspects, yet we arrive in the same class room in peace and love. Getting closer to God through the study of the bible.

in other words, its almost like this forum, but we Actually do come to learn, and we respect eachother with lots of love, and the thing that is missing in this forum that we do there, is that we pray with eachother. we love eachother.

Almost every aspect of the Christianity is being debated.
whether the teaching of Trinity is a problem or not is the least of my worries.

I believe that we should be called Christians and nothing else. Im not a Trinitarian, or anti-trin, nor baptist, pentecostal, and etc.

Im Simply Christian, and I think most should conform to that, than to continue living in division. There are to many lost souls to waste time fighting with eachother.

    much love,

    Hi Lighten up,

I want to start a Theology institute,
Yet focused in Psychology also, in the matters of helping people. Learning abuot God is great, yet we also need the heart of Christ, to preach and save the lost sinners of the world.
    Sometimes its our own family.

So if anything i wanted to build up a foundation where a student can get closer to God, and build a testimony that will change others.

also, I want to stick strictly biblical. There are alot of things giong on in todays churchs that doesnt make sense why they are like this, and its not biblical.

I only want to do what God wants me to do.
Nothing else feels as satisfying. Only God can quench my thirst.

    much love,

    SF,

Worship God, your Father, for all that he has done for you and honor his Son, Jesus Christ.

Pray daily and at any moment you feel the desire. Pray to God through His Son and declare your sinfulness, asking for forgiveness and that you, too, may also forgive your desenters and detractors.

Ask for what you need, if that need is ultimately going to Glorify Him: e.g. Revelation, not to 'win' a dispute, but to increase your knowledge…even that revelation may not make you 'win' the dispute but you will have 'won' a greater one, that over Satan.

But even as you 'win', beware that 'he' will come back at'cha' with much vehemence.

Ask then, also, for God's protection and covering, a place of safety in troubled times, by, and through, and, in, the Holy Spirit which proceeds from the Father and is given to the Son and thence to those who wholeheartedly seek it.

SF, i don't study theology, but i guess you will be under enormous
    pressure to conform
    to the stratetary norm.
It may come to a head:
    Jesus or Mohammed;
    Gods, one, two or three,
    I beg you to flee
but that's for you to see,
    'easy' for me.
    Also, whether
    you weather
    the storm:
    Jesus, Created, Begotten,  or Born.
    The desire for 'that paper'
may, from the truth, make you waver,
true knowledge may mean you fail,
    but remember the 'Nail':
    Jesus went through that strife
    to gain 'us' true life.

    Just some thoughts in passin',
    my best wishes, JustAskin.

    Irene,

By the way, just p.s. note here.

In theology we do not only study christianity, but many religions. False sects, and we understand why they are false. pluse their history. The reason we study other religions is to understand them, and see why they believe what tehy believe, and why its not “truth”.

Talking about Son's. We have three Son's. One is going to the Baptist Church and two are not going to any Church…neither is our only Daughter…. When we left the Catholic Church and joined the World Wide Church of God, they did not believe in any of the Holidays and kept all of God's Holy Days listed in Lev. 23. However they too went back to believing in the trinity and we stopped going there also…. so we have stayed Home for over 16 some, years now also….What makes me so sad is that nobody of our Family wants to talk about God…that is what I liked about the W.W.C. of God we talked about God all the time. In the very beginning I had a lot of Questions and they Minister answered it so nicely…and to compare we called the Catholic Priest and at one point said that God was calling Georg….I find it rather sad that He knew but did not want to do anything about it. Coming here on HN has been good for me….thanks to our Administrators. God has shown us more of the truth and we are forever thankful for it…Now I am forever looking forward to Jesus coming again….

Simply forgiven, youd get on so good with my son, hes just too much :)

Iv been thinking of doing theology myself lately. I dont know.

Irene, it is sad that people today dont speak much of God (they talk about everything else), it would be a miracle if everyone had someone to lead them guide them teach them, in all truth. Instead we need to try and rely on ourselves and the bible and prayer. (Unless we go to a church) so it is hard.

Its sad when differences start to divide people,

    When its the same God,
And all one has to do is open themselves up for the sake of unity and love to God and let God be God.

I would like a imagine a day when all types of Christnas come and pray togethor in love, not holding to what they believe, but hold onto God, and letting him have all honor and glory,

because to be right, is taking away the honor and glory from God. because WE are right, but the point is to deny ourselves and let God be right.

I pray Irene, that you dont ever speak about God with your family, that you never speak your ideas, instead
I pray that your family can all togethor just pray, pray and pray, get into the presence of God, and talk to him. that simple, i hope that God reunites your family, through his testimony and his work in everysingle person in your family.

I hope that you can just ask your family, you know what, we think different things or whatever, but lets just pray, thats it, im not going to pray for you to be convincre, nor viseversa, lets pray just for the sake of praying.

Getting closer to God brings all harmony and unity, and above all else love for one another.

The bible says that the lost will know us by the way we love eachother.

They shall know us by our love which is our unity.

I believe strongly in unity and not divison.

I pray for you unity in your family, in Jesus name. Amen!
