Besides you have said several numbers are evil but when you tried to give Jesus a certain number the same number was equal to Muhammad so how do you deal with all the twists and turns when you don't even have enough honesty to accept the results of your own folly, that would make you a hypocrite so either accept the truth of your numerology practice or stop using it to deceive.

God reveals himself in all sorts of ways, God is everywhere, not just in a book! Or books. God uses books eg the bible to say things to individuals but God truely speaks to our heart and mind.
Rather than stopping any Muslim from posting in the believers forum, why not just allow quotes from the bible only? as it is a bible based forum.

Oh, I don't disagree – but this whole "the bible is the set and only text" thing makes me wonder – it really just means a group of us become a cult preaching that dogma – no different to any other religion, and my main reason for both arguing that BD should be able to post as a believer and for asking to be classified the same as him – even if it means I stop bothering to show up here.I didn't come here and wouldn't stay here for bible study, I have to admit.

Simply brilliant question.The question I have is will anyone be honest enough to tell you the truth I know TK and KM has but will T8 answer and ruin his whole purpose of making this thread? Will anyone else be bold enough to declare the truth because I will tell you for a certainty no person has ever been told by God that the Bible is the only authority and definitive source of truth about God.

And what is the truth? Numerology? (sorry) (but it is a question) God is more than numbers and hidden codes? Its something thats never really popped out to me! And the numerous books on numerology never turn out to occur whenever things were meant to etc. Eg the bible code Nah, too confusing, God is not the author of confusion.

Remember too that God is documented within the Bible communicating with people multiple times, and by definition those events could not be recorded within until AFTER they had happened. What if Noah had sat by while everyone told him that he needed only the Bible and should wait for a saviour? Or if Moses had been told by his people that it was God's will that they remain where they were.I am personally willing to accept that there are grains of truth buried in parts of the Bible – archeology sometimes bears that out – and many myths and legends have some basis in their origin. Sometimes there are interesting things and valuable messages within it – but generally drowned out by people trying to twist it into what they want it to be (which isn't usually a 2000+ year old collection of stories)
As someone so eloquently put it some time ago, the slate of my knowledge is very small indeed. On the other hand, it's mine, I've logically analysed it and try to understand it and would be perfectly happy to gamble my life on my slate. Gambling it on what someone else says is true because someone else told them it was would be another matter entirely.
I'm increasingly strongly of the opinion that that nice little blip in the Earth's history called the Holocene is coming to an end (largely due to our own behaviour) and ultimately we're going to have to inhabit an environment potentially different from anything experienced before by our species.
As we sit here, empowered by technologies allowing us to do the impossible, leading privileged and comfortable existences by the standards of most people even within the Holocene – I think – I'm off to stand on my slate way over there… if your choice of priorities is correct you get to laugh at me, if mine is correct – I won't even get to do that.
God Bless My friends; This might be a good time and place to share some love. I try not to use names of those who have helped me to find certain truths probably all of you have somewhat. Yet I tend to pay attention to those that receive the most resistance and harsh critcism because my experience has been the closer one gets to the truth of God the more hate and anger arises from religious ones.
Remember Jesus said if they hated me they will hate you. Religious people hate the truth. It uncovers their religion. Some on this site seem to hate (without cause) BD. I find his depth of scriptural understanding equal or higher than most on this site. Do I agree with everything, absolutely not. Do I find learning, yes. Can he learn from me, I hope so. Lets all lean toward understanding the scriptures more than memorizing the words. As we seek the truth, the word of God, Jesus, as he comes in us the light goes on if we have found understanding. This is the enlightenment we need so badly. Revelation knowledge not scriptural regurgitation.
If we can't see that Jesus fulfilled and completed the work of God in the earth then we will keep looking for him to return and finish. It is finished as far as he is concerned. There is nothing left for Jesus to do of God's work that hasn't been completed.
God's Spirit is everywhere, it doesn't come and go as in the physical sense. It is perceived through awareness which comes and goes based on perceptions and beliefs. Jesus is here now in the flesh(us) and doing as much as we will allow him to do through us.
Some say Jesus will return for another work. He said it was finished. I say Jesus is at rest until his enemies are put under foot. We now have the task of putting the enemies of Christ under foot. The last enemy is death. If we look at death for a moment we might understand that from Adam until Jesus death reigned(in our minds). Jesus came to destroy death(those deceptive thoughts) and give us life. He did if we believe he did. If we believe now that sin and death have
been destroyed then we will begin to walk in new life in Christ. Faith always comes first and the manifestation will follow. Adam believed in evil/death and then the manifestation began to work. We believe in life/good and the manifestation begins to work in our lives. The truth has come but we must do our work. We must work the works of God by believing the truth.
The war against the truth is in the mind and the adversary is deception and lies. From the highest levels of religion will come powerful resistance to this truth and it will come immediately.
The disciples ask what shall we do to work the works of God and Jesus said this is the work of God, THAT YOU BELIEVE!
