I thought this video did a good job of demonstrating the similarities with the RCC and the Harlot.
But it also suggested that the beast comes from the Harlot. But it is the Harlot that rides/is supported by/comes from the Beast, not the Beast coming from the Harlot I would have thought. So I don't agree with that interpretation, but I remain open to the possibility.
If the Roman Empire was the Beast or the head that is, then there is one (empire and king) left to come for that beast is now fallen.
In order for Rome to survive beyond it's empire it actually created the Harlot Church and then used her extensively throughout history. That is what the term “Holy Roman Empire” describes.
If the Roman Empire came back, then it would live again and they wouldn't need the Harlot and that may be part of the reason that the kings that rein with the beast in the last hour will hate her and burn her with fire.
